Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 14 → 0.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

搬个电视被住户和路人大哥撵着跑,最后力竭被晶哥肘晕
When I started playing American Theft 80s, I had already completed Thief Simulator 1 and 2, and so I knew pretty well what to do. To my big surprise I almost thought about refunding this game, because it was so much worse looking than the two other games, and I was also stuck at the very first quest in the caravan camp. The quest didn't progress, until I actually stole something and levelled up. After that I had as much fun as I had with the two games. Now, even though this is a very entertaining game, there are so many small annoyances, and you think that the devs outright troll you on purpose. I get it, if you get caught you're screwed, but sometimes you feel that people that shouldn't know where you are do infact know where you are, even if you ran from them and hid. I also think that after playing so much Hitman, that at least the disguises you use should have worked better. If I so much as touch the run button, every single person, guards AND workers come at you with their fists. I even got beaten up by being outside my car in a specific outfit. I need to say this, because it's one of the biggest differences from Thief Simulaor 1 and 2, and that is how the NPCs react. Sure, they react to sound right, but in this game, when an NPC is in their bedroom and supposedly are asleep, they will randomly just wake up and walk around randomly in the room. I tried multiple times sneaking into the room of a sleeping person, going as quietly as I could, but no...they wake up every single time! In TS 1,2 one of the funniest things is to pickpocket people that are asleep, and rob them blind while they are asleep. This is impossible in American Theft 80s, and it's a bit sad :(! If you load your game, because you caught, it takes 20 seconds before you're back playing, and even though the game loads the entire towns, it lags so much that you often end up running into things with your car. Single player games shouldn't really lag at all! Anyway, to sum up. Time flies when I play games like these, and I do have fun, and it wouldn't be fair if I didn't recommend the game, because I really do. I enjoy these games because they are goaldriven, and as you go, your skill level will increase, and you get more options to earn more money, which can take you even further! Regardless of some frustrations here and there regarding things, it's pretty decent made, all though Thief Simulator 1 and 2 are a bit more polished and can offer much more!

It's like Thief Simulator but bad. Stilted progression, bad bugs, gear from previous games made worse, and every NPC being a vigilante with infinite stamina makes the game a slog.
got that classic Playway jank
