Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 7 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Ambrosia Sky is a first-person immersive sim where the only thing standing between you and the answers you seek are treacherous zero-G anomalies, deadly alien fungus with their own unique abilities, and the creeping guilt that maybe if you hadn’t abandoned this place all those years ago, everyone you used to know might still be alive.

Ambrosia Sky will be your sombre homecoming to a colony that is overrun with a vibrant, alien ecosystem. Adapt and survive encounters with various forms of hostile fungi that will burn, electrocute, and overwhelm you. Harvest their fruit to craft powerful new chemical agents to fight back or open new avenues of exploration. And pick through the desiccated remains of a once populous colony as you journey into strange depths to unravel the dark mystery that left its inhabitants dead, missing, or maybe even complicit.
Ambrosia Sky’s unique gameplay blends rewarding exploration with meditative cleaning. Use your chemical sprayer to cleanse unique strains of deadly fungi, each one trying to burn, electrocute, or trap you. Study their behaviours and harvest their fruiting bodies to craft powerful upgrades, such as electrical foam you can use to reroute power to power doors or consoles.
The stylized world of Ambrosia Sky is a living ecosystem home to both the hostile fungus and the remnants of those who once lived there. Explore a series of environments across a range of mission types, using your tether to traverse unstable gravity fields or reach hidden passages to uncover the mystery of the Cluster.
Your mission isn’t purely personal. As part of an enigmatic order of scientists in pursuit of human immortality, you are also tasked with finding victims of the contamination whose DNA can be studied. Find these chosen deceased, perform a sacred ritual to further your research and understand the disaster through the lives of the people destroyed by it.

Feels a bit like a mix of Powerwash Simulator and Tacoma. The clean-up gameplay is satisfying (if not quite as in depth as Powerwash) , and the world the game is set in is quite interesting. Looking forward to Act 2 to see how it develops.
The first and only episode was 16 minutes long. Who in the world charges $15 for 16 minutes of gameplay? Cleaning fungus for less than half an hour ( I restarted to 100% hoping for a continue button at the end) is not the definition of fun.

Ambrosia Sky is a wonderful game: fascinating gameplay premise, engaging level design, and a beautiful bittersweet story with worldbuilding that leaves me curious to learn more. Absolutely recommend playing, and I hope Soft Rains continues to develop this story and universe in future games. I did encounter some bugs and either technical issues or abandoned features in my playthrough. There are some issues with the object physics, such as being pushed out of the map while carrying things, that are supposedly being worked on already. The upgrade menus said that I was missing things even though I bought every upgrade available (probably just a desync in my upgrade counts from the menu rework between Act 1 and 2). The message menu was populated at the beginning of the game and then I never got new ones, and the Ambrosia Project screen never seemed to change throughout the entire game. It's unclear if there is a real point to collecting all the charms, finding all the hidden messages, or revisiting levels to clear residual fungus. Usually these things would be tied to Achievements but it would seem the game doesn't have any. But my original point stands. These issues are ultimately inconsequential and don't detract from the story experience, which to me is the most important aspect.
Light cleaning and exploration gameplay elements guide the player through a well-build science-fiction story that touches on existential elements while being grounded in personal loss and relationships. Bottom line: I got this before the price increase, but I would buy it at the planned increased price without hesitation. I look forward to other work from the developers. Positives: A reasonably strong narrative and gameplay structure married to exceptional art design and a good core set of themes, this game continuously surprises in positive ways, right down to the final level. It appears some elements of the narrative had to be compressed, but what we got is still very strong. Negatives: Some elements of the story are a little thematically inconsistent (and voicework is occasionally a bit iffy). I had once instance of a physics bug requiring reloading a checkpoint.
The powerwashing is mostly something to keep you busy while you take in the beautiful environments and melancholy atmosphere. Those environments really are a sight to behold at times, while the plot pace and direction does not really change throughout the game - dour and slow the whole time. There's exploration to find ways to access other areas and grab collectables too, and a few space walk missions (really loved these).
I enjoyed this it has that System Shock vibe. Both acts are very good, and I enjoyed unraveling the story as I explored the station, uncovering logs and wondering what had happened to all the characters. The story is well told, the voice acting is good, and there’s something surprisingly satisfying about removing the fungus. I’d say this is primarily a puzzle game, with a lot of the gameplay focused on figuring out how to progress and using your upgrades to make the puzzles and sections easier. The game does have some jank though and some puzzle sections I found frustrating. The game does look beautiful, and the music is calm and serene, which really adds to the atmosphere. It flew by for me, and I found it to be super chill to play and it works perfectly on deck.
It's a good game. The story is kind of depressing, but at least is fairly good. Sometimes the fungus spawns outside the area, so you will have to go back into the level to clean it out. Very interested to see the next part.
Interesting concept and setting, but the actual gameplay is "Deal with 3 fungus types and 2 enemies. Move to next area. Repeat. Find corpse. Have regret at coming home. Repeat." I hate to give it a negative, but I can't leave a neutral review and ultimately the negatives really outweighed the positives for me.
Wanted to like this game, but between the static gameplay loop and the main character's complete lack of any growth across her fifteen years absence from home, I've decided I'd rather DNF this story. It's a shame because I really like the art style and the backstory, but the writing otherwise is not my cup of tea. Definitely geared more towards fans of lesbians in space with a healthy dose of personal issues to work through.
One part narrative walking story, two parts Powerwash Simulator, with bits of "ancient horror" thrown in (if you read and pay attention to the story). Some environmental puzzles, but nothing too difficult. A few parts give you a short timer and sense of urgency, but aren't too bad. Nice experience, even if a bit too short. Seems averages are 4-5 hours, my play was 7 hour because I took my time and explored a lot. Found majority of the collectibles on my own, will use a guide to finish it off. It is a "Act 1" and ends on a cliffhanger, with "Act 2" hopefully coming out later. ... so be aware there's no story resolution in the game as it exists so far. Still a fun experience, and looking forward to Act 2 ....
