Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.43/day in the week to Aug 7 → 2.57/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.
About

Ambrosia Sky is a first-person immersive sim where the only thing standing between you and the answers you seek are treacherous zero-G anomalies, deadly alien fungus with their own unique abilities, and the creeping guilt that maybe if you hadn’t abandoned this place all those years ago, everyone you used to know might still be alive.

Ambrosia Sky will be your sombre homecoming to a colony that is overrun with a vibrant, alien ecosystem. Adapt and survive encounters with various forms of hostile fungi that will burn, electrocute, and overwhelm you. Harvest their fruit to craft powerful new chemical agents to fight back or open new avenues of exploration. And pick through the desiccated remains of a once populous colony as you journey into strange depths to unravel the dark mystery that left its inhabitants dead, missing, or maybe even complicit.
Ambrosia Sky’s unique gameplay blends rewarding exploration with meditative cleaning. Use your chemical sprayer to cleanse unique strains of deadly fungi, each one trying to burn, electrocute, or trap you. Study their behaviours and harvest their fruiting bodies to craft powerful upgrades, such as electrical foam you can use to reroute power to power doors or consoles.
The stylized world of Ambrosia Sky is a living ecosystem home to both the hostile fungus and the remnants of those who once lived there. Explore a series of environments across a range of mission types, using your tether to traverse unstable gravity fields or reach hidden passages to uncover the mystery of the Cluster.
Your mission isn’t purely personal. As part of an enigmatic order of scientists in pursuit of human immortality, you are also tasked with finding victims of the contamination whose DNA can be studied. Find these chosen deceased, perform a sacred ritual to further your research and understand the disaster through the lives of the people destroyed by it.

Reviews
A downright inspired setting unable to carry the weight of an abysmal story and godawful characters, with boring gameplay. The gameplay is self-defeating, all the upgrades you get basically let you skip puzzles or trivilize the core loop by the time your halfway through act one; actually using your tools genuinly feels like cheating. Several times I stumbled into a puzzle I accidently bypassed and thus now don't get the satisfaction for. There is also no real satisfaction in perfecting a level, mostly due to the artstyle, which while good, is unsuited for this style of game; everything being in sickly pastel makes it hard to take satisfaction in a cleaned zone when it still looks vomitous and broken. I hate all the characters, they all suck. The protagonist is incredibly whingy, is shockingly sensitive to death for someones who's career is effectivly space coroner, seems to get randomly upset about random things, and spends every other line ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ about their terrible horrible worst person ever stepmother. They character arc is a flat line. And no characters really have distinct voices, everyone speaks the same way in the same style, if logs didn't have a picture of whoever wrote it you'd be hard pressed to tell who was who.

Very impressed by the world-building, characters (even if only one is voiced), and how oddly satisfying the fungal cleanup process is, particularly as someone who enjoys a casual bit of Powerwash Simulator or even Crime Scene Cleaner Simulator. It flirts frequently with immersive sim design in smaller confines (think Skin Deep) but more often than not my reward was a little collectable or perhaps one email entry to read, so not quite as gratifying. Visuals were a bit spartan at times but stylized in a way that you definitely understand what kind of living/working space you're waltzing through. Shoutout to the conversation dens I spotted. I guess the Cluster folk were more down bad than usual. Most visually impressive level was probably the space ship where you clean up the exterior to get at the black box. Mechanically, while the basic cleaning loop is totally satisfying, I do wish my tools made more unique of a difference. The flammable spray very, very slowly eats away at material so I would often start burning one area and clean another while I waited. But ultimately there was little reason to switch off of basic spray. Last, I hate to say I despised the final puzzle in the mausoleum. Got stuck for 30+ minutes trying to figure out why the door to my objective was overloaded and had to look up a YouTube walkthrough to get a better idea. I think I hit a bug where one part of the power lines permanently got overloaded with electricity, but I'm not sure. Could use more signposting. It put a damper on an otherwise rich journey. Very much looking forward to Act Two and definitely recommend Ambrosia Sky for anyone who loves the idea of a rich sci-fi world with lots of different threads being woven, and narrative-heavy clean-up adventure with light im-sim elements gameplay. Thanks to the devs for their great work.
Had a great time with this sci-fi adventure, even if I am going to be left in suspense until the release of Act Two. Enjoyed the small spaces and the part of getting around the various challenges (fungi and enemies), a bit like Powerwash Simulator in space, while you get to tether around the environment with no gravity. While the story is incomplete, did look forward to seeing how the situation progressed across the missions available (hint: it went bad!) Left with a cliffhanger, but hoping they have some nice new surprises for us in the next act. As a completionist, it was appreciated that you got to see percent completion and go "clean up" after you've finished your main objective in a level. Though some of the hidden collectibles are a bit sneaky to find, even if there's no visible reward for finding them yet. Big recommendation, though one hope is that they're able to implement cloud saves as we wait to see when the story is completed later this year.
Thoughtful, fun, and staggeringly beautiful.
theres no game in my bugs
It's a narrative game with a bland story based around characters you're never given a reason to care about. It didn't even have the decency to end quickly, the final scene being sequel bait rather than a conclusion. It doesn't do the knock off powerwashing sim well, either. Each map has barely any growth to deal with and it basically vanishes as soon as you look at it. I wouldn't recommend this to anyone.
Not really sure whether to rate this good or bad. When first starting the game, it feels like its going to be great, but not much else is introduced game mechanic-wise from where you start. Its fun to surgically cut through the electric fungus to make it collapse so devices are repowered and collect fruit. Its not so fun to have to clear a large volume of fungus out that does nothing really. The exploder fungus is easy enough to disarm and after that its just work to clear it all away, if you even need to. Zero gravity is difficult to navigate in tight spaces without just tethering everywhere as anything you would normally brush past stops you dead. Upgrades you can get potentially undermine some of the mechanics, though maybe they are for people who find the mechanics boring or difficult (but if you take those away, what is left?). You can make it trivial to harvest fruit, or light fungus aflame and go explore a different room for a minute while it burns it all away. I did not much like the writing and acting. It felt like Dalia was over-reacting to everything or game was not really providing a good connection to Dalia and what she might have experienced years ago that is influencing the now. There also doesn't feel like a lot of closure or resolution at the end. Maybe the story would have been better if Maaz had dialog with Dalia instead of Dalia just talking to herself the entire time. Also, a number of potential story leads/threads never seem to go anywhere.
I finished Ambrosia Sky: Act One, and I can confirm that I had a great time. 🖖 The lore is interesting, the story is moving, the gameplay is very fun (halfway between a narrative and meditative game, a washing game, and System Shock 😁), and the art direction is fresh. No battles against hideous monsters (except for a small larva that is easily disposed of). It is primarily a contemplative puzzle game. It took me 6 hours to complete the 7 missions, which is very reasonable considering the price ($15). And I still have things to unlock. Highly recommended! Bring me Ambrosia Sky: Act Two & Act Three! Planned for 2026.
