The idea it's there, but I think there are a few issues that need to be addressed first. For example, it's very dark around the house, especially in some areas, I think it's a bug or something, I don't know, but either way it needs some patch because is weird looking for puzzles in the dark. Apparently, the game has a lot of puzzles, but the darkness is a big turn-off for me. I'm not searching anything in complete darkness without a flashlight, so please, let me know if you update the game. Also, the puzzle with apples scattered around the house is annoying. If there were like 3-4 apples to find, ok, I would've understood that, but 7 apples?! And without them you can't advance in the story... There are a lot of reused assets and the cost of the game is kind of spicy.
