Reviews
Not very many games suck you in like this one did for me. The depth is insane and you need to study the dao to even comprehend a sliver of its glory. No but seriously get ready to study a metric fk ton if you want to understand this game. Some people have made awesome guides but this is not something you just jump into and expect to go smoothly. When it clicks though it is magical. They should have never moved on from working on it. One of those games that you think about all day until you can log in and stay up way too late playing. Just don't take a break from it because learning it all again is such a tall task you might just shelve it for a long time.
There's a sick beauty in the mystery of this game. At first your walking blind. The tutorial does nothing. Yet is required, and can be a 45 minute learning process. With almost 900 hours in this clunky masterpiece. I feel like I can say if you want a game with depth. This is the peak of it. I have never seen a game covering itself in such ambiguity. Esoteric by nature. After reading pages and pages of walkthroughs just to know how to grow a tree (it was a really important tree tbf). I have developed a sort of "tetris effect" on any Asian influenced media. I see it in Naruto, in DBZ, in Avatar, I hate MHA but I see it there too. This game is the Evangelion of Taoist/ Buddhist mythology.

Please add Brazilian Portuguese (pt-br) support! Hey developers, please consider adding official Brazilian Portuguese (pt-br) support to the game! Right now, we can only play thanks to community mods, but adding official support shouldn't be that hard — especially with AI tools making translation much easier these days. Also, it's worth mentioning that the Brazilian community is the only one outside of China with playlists featuring over 70 episodes. [https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F9bUyiU8p5A&list=PLP3E_c-R2NnbfOlGkKJ_MFoeVMcd6-lI1] We're really passionate about the game and would love to see it officially in our language. Please don't forget about us!
Its cool, but my problem is that I came into this with the idea of this being varied like Rimworld. While it is varied, There's too much that stays stagnant between colonies. All maps are the same, they contain the same stuff every time, and there's set things that happen on set days. I'm just not getting that same "experiencing something other people don't" that I do from Rimworld. The disciples aren't as exciting to read about and while it is realistically a skill issue, I had so much downtime with nothing happening. I've tried to look at guides, but I just couldn't find enough to do. It was fun learning a good chunk of wuxia, but I just wish there was more randomness in the game. If I get proven wrong, I can definitely go back, but as it stands, I feel I've experienced most of what the base game has to offer. I don't feel I can pitch this game to even my most esoteric friends.
wish i read the reviews before buying, an update caused the tutorial to be broken, you get stuck and cant click anything. this happens multiple times in the tutorial so even skipping one item you'll get stuck again.
