About

Aloft is a feel-good, cozy survival game set in the clouds, where you can transform any island into a flying ship and explore the vast skies.
Navigate the world, discover new islands, gather resources, build your dream home, and take care of your animals, solo or as a group of up to 8 friends.
Yet within nature’s beauty, a corruption spreads. Root it out and cure the fungi threat that devours all other life. Uncover lost knowledge, brew powerful antidotes, enrich the biodiversity of the islands, and restore balance to the airborne ecosystem.

Aloft’s feel-good survival is more about rewarding positive action than punishing mistakes.
The sky provides everything you need; cook up delicious meals for buffs, gather resources to craft tools, and explore to find new technology. Soar the open sky freely and discover ancient ruins to uncover the secrets of the past.

Soar the open skies in a vast sandbox world and turn any island into your personal skyship.
Build and customize it into your personal home. With a helm, rudder, and sails constructed, you are ready to sail the winds and explore the skies. You are the captain of your adventure!

The wind is an ever-present ally in Aloft.
Install windmills and a network of cables and pulleys to automate your machines and production. Fly into strong winds to supercharge your crafting power and sailing speed, but make sure your sails can handle it.

Each island is its own living ecosystem, vulnerable to unsustainable gathering and the fungi corruption.
Find and cure islands from corruption by defeating the mushroom creatures in combat. Craft antidotes to save animals and restore islands to a state of harmony. By restoring their biodiversity, you gain access to new special resources, and make them more resistant to the corruption.

Collect seeds and animals on your travels and bring them to your home island.
Plant various crops in your garden to cook up delicious recipes, and care for the cuddliest of animals to gain rare resources. Form a true bond by meeting all their needs, and they will even protect you.

Creativity lies at the heart of Aloft, which can be enjoyed as a peaceful solo experience or with up to 7 other players.
Bring your entire island base when you join another player’s world, and create a small village of sky explorers. Use the in-game island creator to design anything you can imagine, then share it with the community to populate their worlds.
Craft the island of your dreams, challenge the corruption, restore balance, and express your creativity in the limitless skies of Aloft.
See you in the clouds!

Looks pretty. Nothing to it just yet. Early access so may have more added later. For now, not enough to do, pretty empty map. Didn't run very well and was a bit buggy. Would review neutral if it was an option.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,419 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

It can be a decent tool to stale your 5y/o annoying nephew. Otherwise no use
Building is as enjoyable as in Valheim. They solved it to also place pieces from any POV at any side of another piece. Variety of parts is big. Look & Feel is a good mix between Enshrouded and Valheim. They should add Lore. And life. And if they can overhaul the "walking/running-feel" it would help attract more people. The steps taken and the actual speed and sliding over the ground while walking is quite off. Looking forward to see more tweaking quality wise.
This is a mixed review after 30 hours of play. I find that the game itself is and can be very beautiful and peaceful. Building up your island feels very rewarding, however the building itself is one of the worst in any game I've played. Progression as well feels poorly done. The systems make me feel like the devs couldn't decide on which system they liked and ended up mashing them together. Farming and animal husbandry is nice, animals are cute and you can pet them. However animals can disappear and the smaller critters (while adorable) have very limited animations and no movement making them feel largely lifeless. There is very little explanation or guidance to how you do things, what your doing, or why. Also there is very little lore and no real storyline. Exploration is cool and you find some interesting abandoned villages and neat puzzles or obstacle courses, however many islands have little of worth or value and begin to feel repetitive As far as crafting goes there are some cool mini games to crafting but there are also some that where best left on paper like early game cooking water which needs to be done manually via a mini game that gets very repetitive and gives about 5 water per minute. Altogether this is a pretty game that has some nice peaceful moments but ultimately feels disorganized by to many ideas and systems being mashed together. As it's still in early access I hope the devs can streamline the experience into a more pleasurable and reward time.
I wish I could love this game, but it has a terrible flaw. Flying feels terrible. It feels exactly like someone went in to dev tools and turned on free movement. For a game that has flight as its core identity, this is an absolutely devastating flaw. Frankly, this genre has a ton of options and some of them already have better flight than Aloft. Enshrouded does it better for instance. Absolutely no reason to pick this one, when it mangles its core concept so badly.
6/10 The performance is really bad. Sometimes you just want to explore the environment because staying on the ship impacts the FPS so much. After a few hours, you kinda get used to it and see it as part of the “art style.” Just like in “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” Please don’t make me get used to poor performance. The multiplayer mode can be really annoying. If you want to show something to other players, you have to awkwardly wait there because you can’t mark anything for them. Plus, you can’t tell if the other players already have the skill point or the item you’re trying to show them. There are also synchronization issues with game progress. My friends are all at different stages in the skill tree. “Your inventory is full” is a message you’ll see every time you try to pick something up after the fifth hour of play. But you have four inventories. Which one is full? No idea. Why don’t they just tell the player? Why are there four inventories at all instead of a single one with filters? Why am I thinking about this more than the developers are? There is so much more annoying stuff. Its fun to fly around and explore. Just make it less annoying please. Thanks.
Aloft is a chill cozy game, with a sandbox to explore, research to unlock, crafting to skill up, and a fun make your own island and turn it into a flying home for you to sail all over the game with. The core loop is glide to an island cluster, cleanse the corrupted islands, restore the life sapling islands, and complete the puzzles and glider trials to unlock the various shrines that progress your three tech trees. The graphics are nice, a bit cartoony, but overall fine. The audio and music was good, fitting the vibe of a lone survivor exploring ruins and restoring the environment. You can farm crops and raise animals on your flying island. The structure building is easy, though you have to explore to unlock all the building blocks. Like Minecraft you can play solo or co-op as you like. I played solo primarily. If I have any gripes it would be three things: First inventory space is always scarce, and at least in the mid-game where I am (I've just unlocked the linen sails and outfits) there are not a lot of portable options to solve that. Second the game seems to be quite a workout for my GPU, even with a RTX 4090 I felt the game could due with some more performance optimizations. Lastly The story and breadcrumbs guiding you towards progress could do with some more signposting and lore IMHO, so you don't feel so lost and without context or history for the world.
