Yet within nature’s beauty, a corruption spreads. Root it out and cure the fungi threat that devours all other life. Uncover lost knowledge, brew powerful antidotes, enrich the biodiversity of the islands, and restore balance to the airborne ecosystem.

Aloft’s feel-good survival is more about rewarding positive action than punishing mistakes.
The sky provides everything you need; cook up delicious meals for buffs, gather resources to craft tools, and explore to find new technology. Soar the open sky freely and discover ancient ruins to uncover the secrets of the past.

Soar the open skies in a vast sandbox world and turn any island into your personal skyship.
Build and customize it into your personal home. With a helm, rudder, and sails constructed, you are ready to sail the winds and explore the skies. You are the captain of your adventure!

The wind is an ever-present ally in Aloft.
Install windmills and a network of cables and pulleys to automate your machines and production. Fly into strong winds to supercharge your crafting power and sailing speed, but make sure your sails can handle it.

Each island is its own living ecosystem, vulnerable to unsustainable gathering and the fungi corruption.
Find and cure islands from corruption by defeating the mushroom creatures in combat. Craft antidotes to save animals and restore islands to a state of harmony. By restoring their biodiversity, you gain access to new special resources, and make them more resistant to the corruption.

Collect seeds and animals on your travels and bring them to your home island.
Plant various crops in your garden to cook up delicious recipes, and care for the cuddliest of animals to gain rare resources. Form a true bond by meeting all their needs, and they will even protect you.

Creativity lies at the heart of Aloft, which can be enjoyed as a peaceful solo experience or with up to 7 other players.
Bring your entire island base when you join another player’s world, and create a small village of sky explorers. Use the in-game island creator to design anything you can imagine, then share it with the community to populate their worlds.
Craft the island of your dreams, challenge the corruption, restore balance, and express your creativity in the limitless skies of Aloft.
See you in the clouds!

Absolutely love the atmosphere and vibe. I have been worn out on survival games. Each has its unique spin, but its never enough to keep me invested more than a few hours. Aloft, on the other hand, is the opposite. Literally being able to claim an island in the sky, put a sail on it, a steering wheel, and a rudder, then move that sunuvagun around is next level unique. Recipes are mostly trial and error, which makes discovery awesome... All around, solid 8.7 out of 10. I am sure that will go up once 1.0 hits.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 24 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 9 places towards #1, and the 2,404 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Could be a great game if the performance would not be absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥.. :( played it on stream and had to cancel the showcase cause of the performance issues, even with all settings on low. So sad, it really has alot of potential. But even on 4070 TI & 9800x3D it doesnt run smooth at all.
Comfy, Cozy, decent building system, this game allows you to have the base building, ship flying, high gliding experience without worrying if someone is going to attack your base. It's great. highly recommend if you're looking to relax.
This is a fun exploration game to play with your casual gamer friends. There's only around 20-30 hours of gameplay right now, but the world is fun and there are lots of little puzzles and races that make the game a really enjoyable experience to traverse. combat and survival are the backdrop to exploration and building. The gliders in this game are some of the most fun to use for flight that I've ever experienced in any game. I will say the game is pretty badly optimized. in some of the late game locations with lots of islands I was experiencing anywhere from 30-50 frames lost. so just beware if you don't have a beefy PC or your friend who's hosting doesn't have one you're going to be in for a rough ride. Also, some of the building is a little jank as well. the game really doesn't want you to down build stairs so I was having to do all sort of weird finagling to get a good angle so they'd snap onto the other tiles properly. combat 2/10 atmosphere 8/10 music 7/10 Building 6/10 exploration 9/10
6/10 The performance is really bad. Sometimes you just want to explore the environment because staying on the ship impacts the FPS so much. After a few hours, you kinda get used to it and see it as part of the “art style.” Just like in “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.” Please don’t make me get used to poor performance. The multiplayer mode can be really annoying. If you want to show something to other players, you have to awkwardly wait there because you can’t mark anything for them. Plus, you can’t tell if the other players already have the skill point or the item you’re trying to show them. There are also synchronization issues with game progress. My friends are all at different stages in the skill tree. “Your inventory is full” is a message you’ll see every time you try to pick something up after the fifth hour of play. But you have four inventories. Which one is full? No idea. Why don’t they just tell the player? Why are there four inventories at all instead of a single one with filters? Why am I thinking about this more than the developers are? There is so much more annoying stuff. Its fun to fly around and explore. Just make it less annoying please. Thanks.
PEAK PEAK PEAK. insanely relaxing survival exploration game. genuinely, every problem other survival crafters have, this game doesnt! easy food/water/sleep management, not wildly tedious like some. amazing and fun crafting system, no ridiculous resource grinding! BEST BUILDING SYSTEM FULL STOP!!!! traveling/transporting resources back and forth from your base? no problem! just fly ur base with you! good music, gorgeous graphics, and adorable creatures. island quadrants "random" gen in each world, for infinite replayablity. fun ecological management too, you can save the world, or devastate it!! Bases can easily be shared between worlds/friends which makes playing on different servers sooo easy and fun if you like Raft or the forest, i genuinely think you will will OBSESS over this game.
Looks pretty. Nothing to it just yet. Early access so may have more added later. For now, not enough to do, pretty empty map. Didn't run very well and was a bit buggy. Would review neutral if it was an option.
This is honestly one of the prettiest and most relaxing Survival Crafter games out there. I love building my own little civilization on the islands I find, the animals make me squee, and I spend so much time just... DESIGNING. I make endless lived-in looking island spaces. It is amazing this is an early access game in some ways. They also have been generally listening to their player-base to a reasonable degree, and refining the in-game mechanics to make you want to explore and plumb the deeps of every island. Granted, for someone who is adept at survival crafters, I can tend to burn through to endgamey level rather quickly, even with a more fixed progression path. As well, the worlds resources do not respawn (and the world is not endless procedural). I end up importing my old island into a new world, and starting over with whatever the world generation gives you. I do feel the buffs for recovering an island groups ecosystems is too short, and the with how I play (building little town like spaces on my island). The FPS drops a lot when you've had the game up for a while, but granted... It is still very pretty on lowest settings. Optimization can help with that, but the game itself caps its performance. Never does it cause my or GPU or VRAM hit 100% when I play it, and I don't know why the game won't open up more resource use to improve performance. I'd love to be able to crank the graphics more, but the FPS dips pretty quickly on a built-up island. I hope in the future we get more biomes, diversity, mixing and matching, decor block themes and other long play objectives after curing George (the flying turtle monster thingy). More tech / decoration tiers would be nice. The game itself is a really solid experience for 20 to 100 gameplay hours, but if you aren't into building complicated spaces or mechanisms you can get bored after 50 hours, and want to restart / stop. I look forward to seeing where this game goes in the future. Pros: This game is very playable at low FPS, reloading world fixes FPS loss on long play. The environmental story telling is stellar, and build systems are intuitive enough. The game design is beautiful, in its simplicity, and combination of elements. The game is beautiful even at lowest settings, though custom low is best experience. Cons: Dynamic Resolution could use some work, and Reflections Settings don't do much. The Emberstones are tedious to collect, but not necessary for core gameplay. The Animal Behaviors are rather simplistic, behaving almost "Decoratively" at times. Very Built-up Islands will tank FPS, even on High-end PCs.
Aloft is a chill and fun minecraft tipe game of building and fighting. After almost 3 days of playing I think it's Great, and highly recommend!
