Alluris

Essentially a choose your own adventure game, choose right or left. Probably works better on mobile platforms. Still there was a lot of choices to be had and a lot of things to unlock and progress through. Pretty charming and entertaining. It does get repetitive after you've been playing a while, I wouldn't expect most players to get more than a few hours out of it. A nice game for what it is. Recommended if you want a low impact interactive story with some simple progression.

I very strongly recommend getting this on a touchscreen platform of some sort. Since this is a swipe-left-swipe-right game, it makes for a really good mobile game and swiping on a touchscreen is more satisfying than constantly swiping your mouse left and right... and it's a very short and casual sort of game: perfect for playing while you're on the tube or waiting for a dentist appointment or something. For the uninitiated, this game is "Reigns but DnD." Basically, you play as a hero by draw cards from a deck depending on your location, and you react to the events by either swiping left, or swiping right. Much like Tinder, swiping right is usually the affirmative option to any given event. The main objective is to defeat baron dread before 500 "days" pass, and, to the game's credit, there are a variety of ways to do this. Your first few playthroughs unlocking the various backgrounds and classes are fun; the tone is basically a fun fantasyland sort of deal where it doesn't take things all that seriously. The game system has come a lot way since its early demo days, but there are a few cracks in the system--from small qol things like not being able to access some brief description of an item or trait displayed in your inventory (not a big deal since the games are so short; you should more-or-less remember how you came across them) to somewhat weird mechanical un-considerations, where some options may lead a player to believe that they're saving time when they're not really (for example, you can either fish at a river or walk past--walking past would seem to have an advantage or saving up on time with the tradeoff of sacrificing a potential heal, but in reality, a day passes whenever you draw a card, no matter what, which can lead to frustrating RNG scenarios vis-a-vis the time limit, especially when you're still exploring the game.) The art is very good, if a bit inconsistent with how certain characters feel and look, and the music is decent. What really makes this game stand out from others in its simple genre is that the amount of traits you can start with and paths available on each run. There are consequences to your actions, multiple ways to handle many events, curveballs, and it's all well-designed and intuitive. All in all, an excellent sort of casual game that can withstand a few playthroughs before you start seeing through the mechanics. I wouldn't exactly drop $10 on it unless I really loved this sort of tinder-esque mobile game, but if that's your thing, go for it!

Alluris est un bon jeu de cartes aventure avec une grande diversité de lieux à explorer et de monstres à combattre. Il faut beaucoup explorer afin d'amasser des trésors ou armes afin de se faire de l'argent et pouvoir mieux se défendre et éviter une mort bête, avec un escargot. Seul bémol que je trouve au jeu c'est peut être le manque de diversité, il y a différents persos à débloquer mais au début on tombe toujours sur les mêmes cartes faisant que le jeu devient vite redondant et n’incite plus à continuer. Je ne peux que recommander Alluris si vous aimez les jeux de cartes aventure où parfois il faut un peu de réflexion, en plus de cela il ne demande pas grand chose comme config vu que ce sont seulement des cartes. Par contre il vous faudra quand même un assez bon niveau en anglais du fait qu'il est seulement dans cette langue et que parfois c'est compliqué à comprendre (la première fois que j'y ai joué il y a 2 ans, c'est le problème qui m'a fait abandonner le jeu).

This is a mobile game. It's my fault for not checking the gameplay and just thinking I was buying a cheap card battler on sale. I have played less than the rightful time to return it and I'm done with it forever, but alas, I bought it too long ago. It's your typical swipe right or swipe left. Combat is swiping, losing a determinate amount of HP depending on the enemy and your level, and then you go an heal and do it all over again. Sometimes you run into dungeons or instance, all extremely repetitive, with a pattern that you must memorize and stats you need to have before clearing it. Sometimes, you find items that are necessary to complete the missions, but it's all so dull and boring... for a PC game. This would be fine in your phone. If you're using a potato computer, and you have ABSOLUTELY nothing to read out of the billions of books free to find in the internet, you can give it a go. Otherwise, I don't think this is worth the time you spend on it.

Fun short game of choose your own adventure. It is not infinite, so it will start to repeat soon, even with unlocked backgrounds and races. Still fun to play. My favorite combo is Treant Barbarian (so much health, you are never in fear of your life). Although a simple Human Farmer is more of a challenge to play (caution is your friend). Note gender is not a meaningful choice for game play as all marriages and choices are LGTBQ friendly. I recommend this game. It is fun.

Nice game for having a quick adventure. The progression and level up system is ok, but whenever you walk off the road you have to fight a bunch of enemys most of the time. Different region slike forest, desert mountains caves ect. offer variance but eventually the events repeat each other when you walk back and fort. Was still an ok experience.

It's just not fun. The concept is interesting, but many of the choices don't communicate any consequences, and the items can't be used by choice. There's nothing to do but swipe right / swipe left; no strategy, no equipment, no real interactions, no combat mechanics (you just lose some hit points and win or die).

Alluris has enough content and replayability to justify the price. It’s a fun little game to pick up whenever you’re bored and want something casual to mess around with for a while. I also had a good time trying to get all the achievements.

A pretty basic and casual card game where you swipe the cards left or right. Nothing special, but worthy enough for some playtroughs.
