About

Get this. Your peaceful country of Lantanas has been taken over by an egocentric billionaire. Oh, and he built a colosseum labyrinth at the base of the largest Great Tree in the world! Now we're supposed to fight to become the next monarch of Lantanas?!
Battle up the ranks of the procedurally generated roguelite Labyrinth! Utilize hundreds of powers and artifacts against dozens of hired monsters and 7 unique rivals.

Countries Have Come: The Labyrinth shifts and changes every run, with different choices generating new and exciting maps. Roguelite levels are split into 4 biomes with 100s of different rooms you can encounter throughout your run, each based on the countries participating. You're not only fighting against the labyrinth, but other rivals who all have their own reasons for being there.
Make Everything a Projectile: There are multiple weapons and forms to choose from and builds to gain in each run, made different every time through given upgrades and choices. You can hit everything across the map like trees, rocks, other enemies, projectiles, and so on. It feels like a "controlled-bullet hell" which is unique and fun!
Fight Your Way: Bash with your branch, throw thornballs, or use rival abilities like pulsing pillars, spiky bubbles, spinning boomerangs, and more!
Play Politics: Make friends (or enemies) with rivals, employees, & monsters in-between fighting in the labyrinth to upgrade your abilities. Learn their battle techniques or maybe invite them to dinner?

Took mean hour and a half to reach rank S. I did the invincible achievement in 2h10 min about. The game is very good but if you're a veteran roguelite/like player that's used to the likes of Skul or Hades or anything with a harder difficulty, this game will be a breeze. The rebound mechanic is quite good, the voice acting is good, the path selection is good too. Honestly it's a good game and I will recommend it for any casual player of the genre. That being said, I'm hardpress to put any more time into it. Using the shurikens and a KB&M renders the game a cakewalk. 7.5/10
Fun action roguelite, with the cutest monster sprites. Seriously, I don't want to beat most of these guys up, I just wanna hang out.
This is an incredibly charming game! Veterans of roguelites will likely find this game extremely easy, but this honestly makes it a game that I can comfortably recommend to people new to the roguelite genre. It also helps that the main ability in this game is being able to deflect enemy projectiles -- usually games in this genre will require RNG to be in your favor for that. Speaking of RNG, I didn't mind it in this game. Every run felt doable, and whenever a run failed it was usually due to my error vs getting unfavorable upgrades that didn't create a viable build. All in all I greatly enjoyed my time with this game! My only suggestion to improve it would be to display your stats on the left hand side of the screen when viewing gambits and power ups. If I could see my current stats I would likely take more gambits instead of skipping them. x:
Fantastic game from a small team. I'll always love the chaos of a bounceback build, turning the arena into a pinball machine. The monster designs are SO charming too. I can't get over the cosmic witch cats or the great King Toadster. I often find myself with the music as an earworm throughout the day, but there's so much to enjoy about this game, it's hard to write a review about it all that is short enough that people will actually read, so I'll just say it's worth trying out if you're into rogue-lite games.
Great voice acting Sporadic Gameplay Fun builds High Replay Value Difficulty is fair and straightforward as you progress. tenouttaten would roguelite again
Only made it to Act 5 on my first session, but the game feels good. The combat feels nice and fluid, and I can feel the areas where skill and perception are involved. The core combat system and mechanics are simple, but having to understand which buttons (I play on controller) to use while also managing dash cooldowns + HELLA things on screen can be very overstimulating (in a good way). I found myself getting better quite quickly and it feels very rewarding when you do. The art style is very fun and the voice acting is very wholesome. The game is very enjoyable and I will definitely be putting a good amount of hours into it!
Cute, cozy, frenetic! For fans of games like Hades but not as intense. I love that every object and every monster you defeat can become a projectile on the screen to create a magnificent 16 bit looking chaos. The fights are fun but never overwhelming, the challenges are credible but not difficult to the point where you'd want to throw away your controller. The mini games are a great homage to a bygone era of games and the story mixes silly with serious. Most importantly, there's a pettable dog in the game and he harfs when he's pet.
Immediately clear that this game has sauce. Enjoyable game play loop, really fantastic music, cute character designs, great voicing. Definitely going to keep playing this one. Game recommends using controller, but I found that M&K worked just fine,
Rogue Labyrinth is an absolute gem that delivers an exciting blend of unique abilities and strategic enemy designs that keep you on your toes. The voice acting and soundtrack are TOP NOTCH creating an immersive experience that feels high budget. The witty dialogue and smart character development add surprising depth and humor, making it more than just any indie roguelike. With a perfect balance of challenge, gorgeous art and indie charm, this game is a MUST for your library.
