About
Allumeria takes a classic voxel sandbox and combines it with in-depth progression through exploration, dungeon crawling and boss battles. You will constantly be discovering new weapons, abilities, resources, enemies, structures, mechanics and tools. The game has a strong focus on discovery and creative freedom.
Allumeria provides advanced building tools not present in other games. You can change the shape of any block on the fly. Want glass stairs? Want a dirt fence? You can do it! Allumeria has a full RGB light engine. Create dimly lit cozy cabins, or bright neon cities. Monsters only spawn on natural blocks, so you are free to experiment with dark and light! The Paint Roller allows you to paint ANY block in the game, with no limitations. Want to use bricks, but grey isn't your style? Just paint them blue! Multiple palettes are available, from colourful, to earthy, to pastel.
Allumeria focuses on providing an in-depth experience for every biome. Your story starts in the forest biome, and you will travel to other biomes in a quest to become more powerful. Each biome has brand new resources, enemies, mechanics, dungeons and bosses, top to bottom. A single biome represents an entire new chapter of your story, not just a new grass colour.
Allumeria has a simple but diverse combat system. As you progress, more abilities and weapons open up. Start with simple swords and crossbows, then expand your arsenal with explosive bombs, shock arrows, fart guns, snowball cannons, boomerangs, shuriken launchers, frying pans, baguettes, and a myriad of other wacky items. You will uncover equippable trinkets that expand your movement abilities, allowing you to sprint, granting regeneration, gliding, flying, jumping and climbing.
Allumeria is an Early Access game. This means the game is going to continue being updated with new content and fixes to improve it even more, with community feedback in mind. The game has already been shaped by many peoples ideas, suggestions and bug reports, and it will continue to improve with your help. The game is already packed full of content, but there is so, so much room to grow.

I like the atmosphere of the game and the neat way to change building block shapes. Inventory and crafting from an open chest is good but crafting from all nearby chests would be better. It runs well in single player on Linux with no issues. I died a couple of times - near the start when I didn't have a clue what was happening, in a cave when I was savaged by three or four mobs at once and most annoyingly when one-hit by a mob I hadn't encountered before while stuck in quicksand. Things I don't especially like include the fact that mobs spawn in well lit caves - placing floors and blocking off areas as some suggest to stop this is too tedious. IMO quicksand should be easier to tell from ordinary sand, it looks almost the same. Mobs can hit you through walls which is annoying. NPCs tend to disappear and reappear. There's little guidance from the compendium as to how to progress to the things it displays and recipes need text tooltips for ingredients - the potion of returning (which I guess takes you back to spawn) requires a green stick-like thing: I haven't encountered that and there's no clue what it is and where it might be found. Worms are automatically used from inventory when fishing but I discovered that by accident, there's no clue how to use them otherwise as far as I can see. Anyway, fully deserving of a 7/10 in my opinion and as it's early access there's plenty of time for that to improve.

Fun game. like Minecraft but def has it's differences. I am getting some severe stuttering after about 10 minutes of gameplay. hope that gets fixed
Progression: 8/10 It's linear and follows a pattern of caving>dungeoning>bossfight and repeat (aside from the first boss and dungeon). The dungeons and bosses are different enough that this pattern doesn't get stale. Dungeons: 9/10 Each dungeon has different challenges and unique loot that makes it very enjoyable to complete before you fight the boss. The loot in the dungeon is typically exclusive to the dungeon too which makes it worthwhile. Bosses: 8/10 They are fairly difficult if you fight them unprepared. Preparing with proper gear within progression and with speed & armor potions will make most bosses easier. Aside from the 3rd boss, speed & armor potions don't feel required. Combat: 8/10 There are so many different weapons in the game so there's no one correct loadout. Each enemy and boss has specific strategies they are weak to. This makes each encounter very fun as you'll need a variety of weapons. Though melee combat isn't very useful in boss fights where ranged weapons reign supreme. Loot: 10/10 Trinkets and unique weapons make looting a blast. There's funny and silly loot that will put a smile on your face like the fart gun or frying pan. Building: 10/10 Rocket boots, and gliders make it easy to build as if you had free flight. Flight potions also help while building. You can reshape any block into any shape and color any block lots of different colors using the paint rollers. This leads to endless building possibilities even with the content the game currently has. Wallpaper also helps add an extra layer of depth to the building. NPCs: 6/10 Very buggy at times. NPCs will disappear and you'll need to save and quit for them to come back. The comfort system has had issues though I haven't tested it with the hotfixes. Each NPC sells cool and unique items that are very fun to use. 8.4/10 Very fun game!
Most Minecraft/Terraria "clones" tend to struggle with terrain variety, especially underground areas, but the caves in Allumeria are absolutely insane. They're massive, varied, and there's always something new to discover. I'm still pretty early in terms of progression and equipment, but the constant feeling of moving forward and discovering new things is incredibly rewarding. Allumeria takes some of the best elements of both Minecraft and Terraria while bringing plenty of its own ideas to the table. There's still a bit of jank here and there, which is to be expected from an Early Access game, but I can already see myself sinking a lot of hours into this. The developer is also pushing out updates at a rapid pace, which makes me excited to see where the game goes. Definitely one to keep an eye on if you enjoy this kind of game.
cave scary
Terraria but 3d...Holdon
Very solid block game if you like the building of Minecraft with the gameplay loop of Terraria. Still some early access jank though.
So far the game is pretty good for just releasing in early access. Only real complaints I have currently are visual issues which I rarely will see anyway.
i like this game, not even close to 4 dollers but ill take it.
