About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

there are allot of things that need to be fixed on this game including stuttering game play getting trapped behind doors and a lot of other bugs that need to be fixed
feier ich komplett
More build paths, more customization, more interesting weapons and attachments. More enemies, and they bridge the lore between the main Aliens movies and the Prometheus movies. If you enjoy Horde shooters w/ an emphasis on team synergy, this game is for you. Squad positioning is critical on difficulties w/ friendly fire and knowing how/when to spend your ammo and consumables is a huge part of the game. Game looks nice, nothing special. Music is alright. The 'cutscenes' are a joke, as is the interactions w/ the crew aboard your ship/in the lobby. I just spam click through them. The biggest gripe most people might have is that you have to play through the campaign to unlock the ingame shop fully (no real money). And certain categories are locked behind certain missions. For example, if you want a new Armature for your big gun, you have to complete a mission deep into the game, like the 3rd or 4th 'campaign', Mission 2. And you have to fully complete the prologue and Campaigns 1 and 2 before you unlock the first mission for Campaign 3. IMO its not really a big deal, the attachments don't really matter until higher difficulties and you'll want to play through on Standard, maybe Hard, first to learn the maps/enemy types/ammo types/etc. Overall a great game for what it is. A big step forward from the first game, nothing genre defining or innovative, just a solid, polished Horde shooter.
Great iteration on the first ones. Abilities are more impactful and useful. The element interactions built into the weapons are also an improvement Negative: The game seems to have a texture streaming problem or shader cache issue which causes stuttering on first playthrough. Repeat play of the same level is usually a lot smoother.
