About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Reviews
Failed a mission entirely due to the synth ai bugging and standing where they will just die.
Have enjoyed it so far, movements a little clunky but there is a ton of customization and build potential with added traits and augments.

Awesome game....Needs a few fixes to be taken care of with patches please. Thanks!!!
Like the first game, but a bit better in my opinion. Feels roughly similar to how the first game did at EOS, just less classes. Weapon customisation feels better, most other things seem similar but a little different. There seems to be plenty of guns with a handful of ones unlocked via req. The previously consumable items and challenge cards are now permanent, with beneficial challenge cards removing a small amount of the xp reward. Multiple challenge cards can also be used now, so you can balance it out pretty easy. Items (You get one minor, one major item) are simply equipped and are limited use in the mission itself, but are not consumed. They give you impact grenades as a freebie and you get 3 of those per mission, i got incendiary mines early on and get two of those, it feels better imo. Medic was the class i stuck with and in my honest opinion... Feels CONSIDERABLY better. i admittedly screwed my nose up when i saw it gave TEMPORARY HEALTH but it also means your station automatically recharges and has a few avenues to recharge it via the perk system. By the end of the game, i was constantly flooding my teammate's health bars with temp health (it only goes up to their max health, no overheal, but still very nice if they're badly injured) and the defender trait also feels nice when i instinctively go for a melee hit whenever an alien gets close to me or a nearby teammate, as it gives us both temp health. But yeah, overall if you liked the first game, i see no reason you wouldn't like this one. It's more of the same but they've built upon it and added some extra stuff in like being able to mod your weapon with smart aim or cryo ammo once you've got it to 4*. Campaign is probably closer to 8 hours or so, i finished at 13 cause i spent some time in quick play levelling some other classes a bit.
this game just is not fun 1. Gun play is bad, Lost planet 2 on the PS3 had better Third person gun play... 2. The characters SUCK, they lack any substance 3. the character face motions are ps2 era at best 4. The mission progression is "run down hallway, shoot, run down hall way, hold location while shooting...fade to black extraction
Played the first for about 350 hours. Enjoyed it quite a bit. I've enjoyed this one with a cpl buds as well. If you played the first the classes are pmuch the same but with new names. Demo = Marauder, Lancer = Hunter, Machinist = Tech and so forth. The true new is the Specialist, which can equip every other classes skills. So mix n match. Weapons are cross class unlocked once @ 4 stars. I can't remember if this was the case with the first. There are a couple technical issues I've noticed. Sometimes you cannot pick up or open a consumable/chest. Not the ammo crate, just the secret and not so secret ones hidden about. I've only had 1 instance of being locked behind a door, as I went to deconstruct my turret, and this was on mission 7. Automatically got pulled back to the group due to cinematic but once in 30 hours is not an issue imo. The actual gameplay is good. More variety of aliens, some tough ones, and the pacing is good for a horde survival. Gotta use your kit; can't just pray and spray. There can be some issues with the larger alien's mechanics. Charge/Rush can sometimes be wonky. Consumables are more expensive when compared to the first but earning credit and exp isn't difficult esp with people using challenge cards. All and all a good start. The dev's can clean up some of the minor stuff with a patch and shine it up. Not sure why people are knit picking women, space lesbians and writing. This isn't shakespeare folks; ur here to smash xenos. Enjoy!
Some minor bugs, but having fun.
i mean its alright, bit buggy because it just released. I also stand with what other reviews say that the game plays like its worth $30 instead of $50
