About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

Reviews
i mean its alright, bit buggy because it just released. I also stand with what other reviews say that the game plays like its worth $30 instead of $50
Not had any bad performance issues or anything else, runs well, plays well. only frustrating thing is people randomly leave a mission halfway through.

I absolutely 110% would recommend this game to anyone that is an Aliens fan, and 100% to anyone that just loves a good raw shoot em up blow sh** up shooter. When it comes to just got home from a hard days work and you need a good hour or two to just blow off steam and just dive into a good over the shoulder shooter and shoot the living daylights out of stuff with a bunch of fancy guns and equipment, there are only a few better games ever made. They really outdid themselves in a few departments this time, including graphically beautiful aliens. So if you just wanna shoot and blow ♥♥♥♥ up in the aliens franchise style, theres really not a game out there thats better than this one. (love how they added the drones are much more nimble now and jump and dodge around trying to avoid your fire unlike the first game.) Could the game be better a little here or there? sure. So could my coffee. Still need the coffee.
So far I like the game, it s bug hunt, big bugs, squash bugs I think the game diff slightly under tuned, anything under intense ? its not a bug hunt any more just a bug BBQ so far have completed on extreme difficulty with bots on unmaxed machinist it did about 206 kills 96K damage with 3 bots so not sure if machinist is overtuned or xenos under-tuned ( did go down once though ) yeah i suppose later missions will be harder but not that far in yet Pros: Persistent corpses after battle They seem to have removed prowler ambushes, like in the first game they sit behind boxes or on a wall you know they’re there but cant get the angle to shoot them so they end up jumping on you anyways? yeah glad that's gone now seems to be running pretty well on linux bar well cutscenes dont seem to play .. still working on launch arguments Cons: As mentioned yeah i think difficulty does need turning , even with well below combat rating its not that hard, and thats' with bots that do half my damage the vaulting . . .is well . . . like wey-yu subcontractor did half a job on it the distance is too far, so o n a miss press potentially your character is going to run through acid pools or flames to vault . . the cover system also a con for me sometimes yeah when crouching the char makes the sound the they can use cover but they cant .. . the cover icon also appears on things you cant take cover on, also seems difficult to actually shoulder swap while in cover easily, for me easiest is to ADS form cover then swap button rather than camera move or A / D move That's it, man. Review over, man. Review over!
Gameplay wise, if you liked the first game you'll like this one! The story is... Modern. Basically, you're butch commander wants you to save her gang of lesbians that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ around and found out. Now they gotta send a man (Me) to save them and they talk ♥♥♥♥ to you when you save them... Because that's what modern women do :P if you don't want to see their cringe cutscenes you can skip them and play the game and just tune their yapping out. Game runs smooth on controller but I noticed slight stuttering when using mouse and keyboard when looking around quickly.
cutscenes were made by an aboriginal person that never seen pc before "Lamp Oil, Rope, Bomb" energy hit\damage\collision mechanics feel like a bowling game especially on marauder class railgun has insane damage falloff, essentially castrating it fun game tho, fix it lmao
Failed a mission entirely due to the synth ai bugging and standing where they will just die.
This game doesnt deserve the hate it got... its a building block from the first FTE which has alot of potential. Squad play is tight and intense as it should be - worth a chance if the hours are invest as it does get better the more you play it.
