About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

At the prime age for the original Aliens films, toys, games, comics, marketing craze. Massive fan of Aliens films as a kid. Played Aliens IBM & Alien DOOM TC as soon as I could, AvP games, from Jaguar to PC. This is a great Aliens game for fans. Feels somehow even more like the universe than the 1st game did. "Let's rock."
Def enjoying so far there is alot to do and 4 player co op cant go wrong. Alien Ai is pretty amazing game is a ton of fun. I am no where near far enough to review but I am enjoying it so far quite a bit. One of the best uses of my time I feel for a multiplayer game right now.

This game feels worse than the original. I am not having any fun. The weapon sounds feel wrong, the in game characters feel like they are AI generated, as does many of the decal/customizations. Killing the aliens feels flat and weightless. It's hard to describe the lack of satisfaction or dopamine hit vs the original Fire Time Elite when shooting at enemies. The levels design and progression feel extremely repetitive (move to next square location, kill wave, rinse repeat). Cover points are useless at each square wave because enemies xeno's rush you faster than you can kill them, mean while the cover system glues you to the wall or barricade far too long to respond to threats hitting you from off screen/flank attacks. Why are they there if pushing a diamond/delta formation with your squad negates any opposition or threat ? So almost all of these map designs falls apart for me. Performance wise, despite my computer running the game on maximum settings and over 120fps, feels like it's running at 30fps with the janky animations the aliens and players have. Random studders are not helping either. This is also the first game I've run were my computer is acting like it's running Cine/Geekbench and FurMark all the same time. Another thing I can't quite put a pin on it is the twitch streams and preview videos do not convey the in-game "something is wrong" feeling with the gameplay/presentation. It feels like an old fashion alpha/beta build. If this was a $20 game with $5 DLC, I could give it alot of slack, but at $50/70+ $10 DLC ... no, this a significant disappoint.
Stuttering right out of the gate. 0/10
A great game, Feels like Hellidivers and is played like helldivers, And it has alot of room for challenge cards, Objective modes and xenomorph types that can be properly expanded in future updates, I love the customization system and the way you can modify your weapons, It's the best part of the game, Especially decals even on your own gloves while it is supposed to be on your torso, They should focus on making new item stores, And a good infinite waves mode would be good.

Just some various thoughts: We are so starved for decent games and they keep pushing out crap like this. This feels like it was made it 2010 and that is just from a gameplay perspective. We really can't get basic cutscenes, we are really going with the boring screen conversations where you call a woman "sir"? In what military hierarchy would you ever call a woman "sir"? They also recorded what seems like two lines for every character because you will hear the same line over and over and over. So many bugs and not the scary kind. Aliens flying across the screen when they die, aliens running past you or getting jammed together, bots standing behind you blocking your view, very little environmental interaction. Guns feel so lackluster and something strange with the reloading that I couldn't put my finger on. The environments themselves look great but when the gameplay and story is so sleep inducing, that is not close enough to save it. I really don't think updates will save this one. They have one of the best sci-fi IPs of all time with one of the best female characters of all time and they still can't get it right. Just unacceptable in 2026. I guess that's why they say to go in with low expectations...
I recommend it - I think it was pretty fun, although it needs some major improvements. ALL, and I do mean ALL of the primary weapons are absolutely terrible, the only weapon(s) worth running on any difficulty above standard are the signature weapons. They're really that bad. Every weapon needs at least a 70%+ damage buff, they all feel like pea shooters. It improves upon some mechanics from the first one, but I'm not necessarily certain if I like it more yet, it needs some polishing that's for sure. I give it a 6.5-7/10 so far. if they buff weapons, clean up optimization and make it a little more playable overall, it will be like an 8+. but seriously, buff those weapons, they're all ass. The game also needs some patching for optimizing as it has frame rate issues and often run into issues where you think the game is going to crash, but it somehow doesn't.
As much of Alien fanboy that I am, I can't recommend this game yet, not even with 120 hours spent on the original. Getting huge lag spikes that freeze the game for over a minute that kicks out every human player leaving you with synths ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ sucks, and it happens too frequently for my taste. Missions, enemies, and story are starting to feel pretty darn similar as the first one. Sure, you get new and improved classes with their corresponding perks, but for 50€ I expect a bit more of innovation, not a rehash of what we alredy got
