About
Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 drops up to four players into the boots of Colonial Marines deployed to the most hostile corners of the Aliens universe. This is not a rescue mission – it’s a fight for survival. Xenomorphs stalk the corridors, ambush from the shadows, and swarm in overwhelming numbers. Every room could be your last. Coordinate with your fireteam, leverage each class’s unique abilities, and adapt on the fly as encounters escalate from tense standoffs to all-out war. With deeper squad mechanics, smarter enemies, and a fully customizable Specialist class, AFE2 delivers the definitive co-op Aliens experience.

Join our Discord server, Marine.
Expanding from three to four players, AFE2 introduces deeper team-based mechanics that reward coordination and strategic class composition. New and improved classes each bring distinct playstyles and tactical abilities to the fight, making every squad combination feel different.
The iconic xenomorphs are more ferocious than ever before. AFE2's massive variety of new xenomorphs will force players to stay mobile, maintain situational awareness, and use every tool at their disposal. From stun batons for up close melee action in those most desperate moments, to pyro and electric ammo to whittle down the unrelenting xenomorph front before they overrun you and your squad, the battle can shift from calculated tension to desperate last stand in seconds.
Beyond expanded weapon and gear customization, AFE2 introduces the Specialist – a fully customizable class that lets players mix and match major and minor abilities from every available class. Build a loadout tailored to your exact playstyle and fill whatever role your squad needs.
AFE2 launches with multiple dedicated Horde maps that push squads to their limits. Battle through escalating waves of xenomorphs and other deadly enemies, earning increasingly valuable rewards as you survive deeper into the onslaught. This is where teamwork and skill are tested at their absolute peak.

well so far my FPS is fine and its fun better then EP1
I'm having fun.
I just want to start by saying that if there was a neutral option I would have pick that one, but I am more on the side of liking it - HOWEVER this is like a day 2 review and yes i did beat the game in 11 hours (story wise). For starters this game was rough like the cutscenes at first were choppy but the longer I played the smoother they got idk whatsup with that, but the last fight had you go into another mission and i just got a loading screen when a cutscene was playing. I can only recommend this game if you are a fan of aliens and just want more lore and a ok bug hunt as of now- it not a long game (again story wise) but they point of it is too rerun the missions and do it with a different class, with that being said you will not hit max level doing the normal story. again I honestly have mix feeling about this but i really dont regret my purchase at all because i want this IP to get all the love it can, but I can kinda see what people mean with it kinda just feels like dlc for the first game. -------------------------------------------------- In short if you dont want to read all that its an ok game but I would get it on a sale if I wasnt a big aliens fan, in my opinion its not worth 50 usd its worth like 30 usd - and not even from time they just didnt do anything new with it

I'm new to the franchise. Some remarks: * game runs quite well * gunplay feels very nice * amount of customisation is high * likely very challenging on higher difficulties Overall a fun game to play with friends.
If you enjoy the Aliens franchise, immersing yourself in this game is incredibly fulfilling. The combat is intense and the sounds will take you back to when when you saw the movies for the first time. The game plays smoothly, although I had a few disconnects during missions. Game is new, so gotta give the devs some grace to fix the bugs. Character progression could be better explained. I'm hopeful quality of life adjustments will be introduced as the game matures.
Its pretty damn fun. Maybe a little rough around the edges, but cutscenes and writing ain't what you should be looking for here. I'm digging the perk system and the battles get more challenging as you progress but you still feel your own power level increasing. Seems pretty balanced so far, devs just gotta iron out a few wrinkles.
No dedicated servers in 2026 for 50 sheckles is absolutely insane. The host will rage quit from getting jumped by a Drone, and the Drone will look at you with sheer absurd stupidity until the game disconnects you, wondering why you bought this horrible game. Even for an Aliens horde shooter this is a low bar. Do not recommend and wish I could refund so bad.
This? This is honestly a scam. It feels like one and it plays like one. At first I thought it was passable, but barely. Like someone trying to get a C on their grades, that they just did the bare minimum. But looking at the progression system I realized it's a game meant to look pretty and complete on first glances, and with a progression system that slowly unlocks modifications after you play through the campaign. I was half-done with the campaign and less than half the store for gun modifications was unlocked. You can't even preview what gun mods you have to unlock, and that irks me, it tells me that they wanted you to keep playing the game. I barely unlocked underbarrel mods, curious as to what I'd get, and instead of any meaningful attachments you get grips. I realized then I was being played, they were just stat modifiers. All the attachments are just stat modifiers. Keeping them locked was just meant to run the clock so you can't refund it on Steam. The gameplay itself is passable but there are many visual and audio bugs, which at first again I thought was doing the bare minimum, but I realized this was just a scam. It was meant to be passable with a predatory unlock system meant to drag out how long until you can't refund it anymore.
