Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 16/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 23 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 14 places towards #1, and the 2,515 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.
10/10 Alien Isolation is a Painful But Wonderful Experience
Alien Isolation is a universally known video game. From being an influential and a keystone in the horror genre to having a 5.9/10 on IGN. Alien Isolation is known for having an incredibly complex antagonist: The Xenomorph. It is the most complicated and intelligent ai in horror video games. Which is a horror to play with, but an incredibly fascinating technical accomplishment. This game succeeds at what it is trying to accomplish: to scare the ever loving crap out of you.
What I Liked:
The Xenomorph as an antagonist was a special experience for me. I have never been more afraid in a horror game before. It genuinely horrified me and made me scared to leave my hiding spot. Even in my hiding spots, I was not safe. It could still find me. Having this as a mechanic, helps keep the player on edge which is something this game is good at. This game is incredibly good at keeping you constantly on edge, from the music swelling to the enemies that constantly wander. This game knows how to make you afraid, because it studies and understands what makes you tick. It sees how you play and works against you. I thought that was a cool, but scary mechanic. I had to constantly change how I was playing and what I would use to get myself out of a situation. Another thing that I liked was how the game made itself seem so real! From the way you have to move levers and objects like you would in real life through your controls to the environment itself that really felt alive. The world feels lived in. From the abandoned bars and restaurants to the nest of the Xenomorph. It felt real and that made me appreciate this game so much more.
What I Did Not Like:
The ai of everything else (that was not the alien) in the game felt incredibly dumb. The humans and the robots were incredibly stupid which sometimes broke immersion for me a little, however I did sometimes appreciate their stupidity as player. I just wish that sometimes they were a little brighter.
Conclusion:
This game genuinely made me want to die at some points, but that was what it was made to do. It succeeded at being incredibly scary and nerve racking. I am interested in seeing whether or not the sequel lives up to the first game. This game was a stressful and exhausting experience, but it was made with so much care and love. You can tell, and I am grateful that I played it, despite being incredibly scared.
nb
i mean, its like, its not that good, because there are no other save slots, which is a MAJOR problemo, the ambient is quite good, but it just feels like a old clunky game.
