Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 16/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Each DLC is estimated with the same model as a game, then summed — a modeled figure, not reported DLC sales.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

With the announcement of a second Alien: Isolation game, this felt like the perfect time to dive back in and finally review the first one. It should come as no surprise that Alien: Isolation performs incredibly well on the Steam Deck. It’s an older title, so feel free to crank up the settings. Even today, the game still looks incredible. They absolutely nailed the atmosphere, but the sound design might be even better. If you’re not playing with good headphones or a solid set of speakers, you’re only getting half the experience. I found myself relying on sound direction more than the motion detector the game gives you. Now for the biggest talking point: the alien AI. Listen, buddy, when I say these were the most tense 24.4 hours I’ve ever spent gaming, I mean it. By the 18-hour mark, I was begging for the game to end because of how tense the alien made every situation. If I was careful enough, I could sometimes crouch through an entire level without the alien ever showing up. That doesn’t mean it couldn’t appear, though. Oh, it definitely could. Other times, the alien seemed to know exactly where I was going. Even when I was being incredibly quiet, it felt like it had a general awareness of my location. That could feel a little unfair, but it also meant I never felt completely safe. If you love the Alien franchise, appreciate great audio, and enjoy the feeling of constantly being hunted, just play it. You might be begging for it to end like I was, but you’ll definitely have fun getting there.
Esse jogo é uma obra-prima. Não há nada igual no mundo dos games, é uma experiência única mesmo.
Great game have several copies.
Simplesmente a obra prima do terror, depois de jogar esse jogo, outros no gênero perdem o sabor. 10/10
i just finished this game and what an experience it was, by far the best horror game I've played in a long time! Atmosphere, OST, gameplay and story. Everything about it was fantastic and I'm so glad i was able to go into it blind. While i won't be 100% it cause lets be honest I'm scared af, for just the main story, I would highly recommend this game to anyone. This game grasps the horror of the Alien universe better than the movies ever had, what an amazing accomplishment.
