Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 16/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Absolute masterpiece!
The best horror game of all time. The atmosphere and gameplay in the game are unmistakable, and if we add the indispensable alien, who is arguably one of the smartest enemies that can't be found in almost any game, it makes the game a true horror experience.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

12 Years Later and this game is still, easily, one of the- if not the best horror game out there. What a masterpiece, genuinly! Everything from the Map Design- to the INSANE Alien AI (which still easily beats a lot of Enemy AIs nowdays) with its Behavior Trees and 2 Brains and Learning ability, crazy good pathfinding and Attacking habits (sometimes it even pretends to run away just to loop around and get you from behind) - to the Atmosphere- to the Story-to the music- to the Gameplay- just everything. The Xenomorph is terrifying from the 1st encounter to the last, despite the repetitive ways to keep it at bay it still manages to suprise you and every encounter is unique, you have a huge arsenal of weapons and tools with which you still often feel helpless (but not so helpless that it gets annoying like in most horror games), the Joes were both hilarious and just JACKED- like genuinly, what do you mean i pump a whole Magazine into your forhead and all you say is "Youre starting to test my patience", dayumn. Especially the Hazmat Joes. I think i died more times to the Hazmat Joes than the Xenomorph and these guys were terrifying in hordes. Its also pretty well optimized, not a shred of lag the entire playthrough, although there were some visual glitches here n there like lights loading in too soon or too late or some walls becoming transparent in certain areas but through ca. 40 hours i only remember, like, 6 times glitches like that happened and they fixed themselves seconds later. And my favorite- you have to always mix up your playstyle. Like i mentioned, the Xeno adapts to your playstyle so you cant always just hide under desks or go into lockers or spam certain weapons to scare it off, if you overuse any of it, it becomes useless quickly. The only things off the top of my head that i didnt like were the Maps and station layout which just gives me a headache and the constant doors and places that go "Oh, you dont have upgrade number 42 for your Torch or Decrypter? Sorry, come back in, like, 4 chapters, if you still remember it by then!" ugh. And the Fact both of these issues are connected makes it soooo much worse. But other than that i absolutely loved this game. And its crazy how far ahead of its time it was and Youtube Videos really dont do this game justice, you just have to play it to feel it properly. Plus, Rough 40 hours of Gameplay for 40 bucks? Solid. If you can, get the game, its worth it. Side note, play on Hard, everything lower is too easy according to what i heared
If you only play one Alien game in this franchise, let it be Alien Isolation. It is the best there is. I beat this game idk how many times now and it never gets old! Always fun.
It seriously just gets better with every playthrough. Definitely one of the best sneaking games ever made, maybe second only to Thief. Still looks better than most modern games, and is apparently so well optimized it can run on a russet potato. Like most of the genuine "games of all time" (not the IGN 10/10 kind) it has a deliberate design approach to the gameplay loop that makes it not for everyone. As with most things, if you try to please everyone you end up pleasing no one. Some people just aren't going to like Isolation, but for the people who do like it, they're going to really, really like it. There are some parts that are just not good at all, like the overly long unskippable walking simulator sections, but let's be honest, it's not enough to drag the game out of its well-deserved masterpiece status. In conclusion, this is the best game I ever got from a Newegg GPU voucher.
This is a real deep dive into the original Alien universe
Family friendly fun for everyone
This is exactly what Alien 3 / Prometheus should have been. Absolute peak stealth scifi. I woudn´t neccesarily call it survival horror though. Also the xenomorph AI was on another level compared to Joes and humans. I thoroughly enjoyed my time with it.
yes but not for everyone
