Discover the true meaning of fear in Alien: Isolation, a survival horror set in an atmosphere of constant dread and mortal danger.
Modeled estimate, not a reported figure. How we estimate →
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 10.29/day in the week to Aug 18 → 16/day in the week after.
Too few observations to say whether a discount moves this store's chart at all: across the last 30 days Steam · Top Sellers · Poland has just 18 day-to-day chart moves that followed a price cut, against 2,498 that did not. We are publishing the count instead of a direction — 20 is the fewest we will draw a conclusion from, and price collection outside the United States began on 6 August 2026.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Sep 9: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

The atmosphere is insane, the graphics still look great, the sound design is terrifying, and Sevastopol feels incredibly immersive. The Alien itself is probably one of the best horror enemies I've ever encountered. You never feel safe, and every noise makes you question whether that thing is about to crawl out of a vent and ruin your day. I really enjoyed the story. The exploration, crafting, stealth and constant feeling of being hunted all work incredibly well together. My only real complaint? Mission 5. That mission genuinely pissed me off. 😭 It felt way more frustrating than fun at times and almost killed my momentum. But overall, this is still a damn good horror game, especially if you're an Alien fan. Great atmosphere. Great sound design. Terrifying Alien. Amazing immersion. Can't wait to see what comes next. 9/10
It's called "Isolation" and I have not had a moment of peace all ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game.
As of writing, I am on the 17th chapter out of 19; I feel the game overstays its welcome, which is apparently its only criticism, according to friends. It is a good horror game, with a good amount of fake outs and twists, but a roller coaster can only go up and down so many times before you get sick of it. Maybe my opinion on it will change after finishing the game, but the 17th chapter feels like such a slog, especially after the previous few chapters. Throughout the game, the mechanics feel tense and meaningful, especially with the alien roaming about and able to catch you while you're fiddling with the controls to open a door, or cut open a panel, but after a certain point, it becomes tedious when you have to do everything from pulling a lever, to finding a keycard, to finding a slot for said keycard, then waiting for a thing to happen... I think it's a chapter that was meant to feel tense, but with how often you had to fiddle with levers and buttons, it felt bogged down cause of how often you stopped to move a thing, then run to another room to fix that thing, then run back to open this other thing. It's a game of hide and seek, but chapter 17 feels like you're playing hide and seek with a Bop It! toy.
One of the greatest survival horror games of all time. The gameplay is extremely dense and interesting, which is the main reason why I have replayed the game multiple times. The game itself recommends Hard mode, and I have to agree with that. However, if you do not like a challenge, Medium or Novice will give you much more resources and, most importantly, you will take much less damage from, for instance, androids and humans. For me personally, the best experience the game has to offer is Nightmare mode. That to me was a true challenge and horror. The Alien is quite smart even on the lower difficulties, but on Nightmare, it is insanely dangerous and actually feels scary. Humans also one-tap you, which in my opinion is the main con of Nightmare mode. For me personally, the humans were a bigger threat than the Alien sometimes because the Alien mostly reacts to sound and can be outplayed by good stealth gameplay. Humans cannot—at least in some locations, it felt literally impossible and it seemed like just running past them was a better, but obviously more risky, option. Also, the humans do not have nearly as good an AI. Even if the Alien is near them, they often prioritize shooting you over, for example, hiding from the Alien. Missions and most tasks in general are enjoyable and not very repetitive. The story in general is quite well executed with a bittersweet, close-to-tragic ending, which I prefer for horror games. If I had to pick a few things that I did not like, it was mainly bugs caused by high FPS (the game slows down, for example, or some dialogues are bugged or frozen). Another main con is the human security AI, which is bad, and that is mainly a problem on Nightmare difficulty. The game is long—roughly 15 hours if you play on Hard or Nightmare, otherwise it can be shorter. For a game that has good gameplay with a lot of variety, I think that is a very reasonable length. Overall, I would rate this game roughly 9/10. If it was not for the bugs and maybe slightly better human AI, it could have been a 9.5/10.
great game, glad its over looking forward to the 2nd one
Such a peak game and the environmental design is sooo good you feel like you're on sevastopol, its over a decade old and I still find myself in awe at the views of the station and space, and the alien is probably the most oppressive hunter ive dealt with in a game, the synths are really cool too even though dealing with them doesn't feel nearly as sophisticated or cat and mouse, and the story is also amazing if you're willing to engage with it through audio logs. Love this game, cant wait for 2.
