Solid. Give it a try. You might just like it.
Was already a big Pendulo Studios fan from way back during their Runaway series, but wow, this game... is AWESOME :D Sure, the main character is an annoying arrogant prick most of the time, but his resolve and the cinema here is top notch. Perfect mocap, animations, voice acting, story telling, camera angles, worldbuilding, and characterization. Gameplay resembles QTEs similar to games by Telltale and Quantic Dream to propel the story forward but never loses momentum the entire playthrough. A must play for anyone that loves detective murder mysteries and thrillers and twists akin to other works by Alfred Hitchcock and Stephen King. The villainy and psychopathy represented in this game is off the charts! If you want to know how to create a badass villain, this game has the best example.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

BUT WHAT THE HELL JUST HAPPENED!!! ⭐⭐⭐⭐ A masterpiece wearing a broken suit. The gameplay is slow, the lip-sync is... Gurning competition worthy. At one point you're literally putting away virtual groceries. Canned beans. Alphabetically. In a Hitchcock game. And yet you don't quit. Something in that story grabs you by the collar and refuses to let go. Then the twist hits. Your brain disconnects. Mouth wide open. Coffee gone cold ten minutes ago and you didn't notice. Hitchcock is laughing from beyond the grave. You cry a little, just a little. Your jaw is on the floor, your eyes are the size of dinner plates, and your heart? Broken. Completely, beautifully broken. Make yourself a coffee before the final act. You won't drink it. But you'll need it.
The brilliance of this narrative adventure goes way beyond what I expected. What I love most about this game, and what genuinely surprised me, is that it isn’t a reimagining or an adaptation of the movie masterpiece. Instead, it plays with the same concept of bending reality and being deceived by someone else that made the movie so compelling. It takes that core idea and builds an entirely different story around it. I believe this game does things from a storytelling perspective that are even more impressive than the movie. It may not be as visually spectacular, but it has a strong visual identity of its own. Most importantly, the story is so captivating that I simply couldn’t put the game down. I became absolutely obsessed with it. I remember going back to work and having this game be the only thing I could think about. All I wanted was to finish it and uncover the truth behind its mystery. And believe me, the mystery keeps you guessing all the way to the very end. I honestly believe this is the best game in this genre I’ve ever played. If you enjoy games like the Telltale titles, Life is Strange, or other narrative-driven adventures, please, please, PLEASE give this game a try!
Never watched the movie but found the game's story to be interesting enough that I stuck with it to the end. Simple gameplay, good plot and filled with suspense. The ending though was hilarious! Works fine on Steamdeck. Worth purchasing on a sale.
Overall this is a very hard to recommend game. The controls are slow and clunky, the QTEs are pretty lame. The story is the biggest thing going for this title. Play it if you can get it cheap.
