This is honestly more fun than it appears, the dungeons added a new element behind just cookin. solid game with updates still continuing.

For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Poland over the last 30 days: the 21 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 12 places towards #1, and the 2,501 moves with no price cut behind them went 1 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

While I am enjoying the game, I bought it solely based on having played the demo. That being said, there were quite a few things better in the demo than on the actual version. 1 - I don't think they needed to add a repair function to the game, If you are playing alone it's tedious enough that I don't have the time to run around repairing stuff as well 2 - The whole action with the axe. On the demo you could just hold down the mouse button to continuously swing the axe, now if you do, it adds a heavy attack and while I do understand it was to add more to the combat it's a bit of a pain when all you want to do is break down debris 3- OMG the drunk cam needs to friggen go! This was not a thing in the demo and while yes, I am well aware it's because I fat finger the keys from time to time while walking around with ale for the customers this absolutely should be a feature you can toggle on or off, or at least have a prompt if you want to consume the food or drink. I died because a zombie came out of nowhere when I was serving a customer and hit the wrong key, got drunk cam and then died. It's not even just for that, the drunk cam makes me super nauseous. 4- My biggest annoyance by far is how smooth the game ran on demo and I had no problems with tearing or weird issues with graphics but in the actual game? Yeah there seems to be the occasional weird blurring horizontal lines through the middle of the damn game. I had to tweak settings for about 20 mins until I was able to make it go away. I mean it's a plus that in the main game I can actually adjust the brightness, but the rest is... yeah. 5- The sprint/run is now a dash animation instead. Your character naturally just always runs, where in the demo you could turn this off. Now the run button is a dash forward. And again, while I understand it's for combat, they could've just added another button for that. 6 - Going back to the zombies, I think it's a bit stupid that they just appear in your tavern now, instead of walking through the back door. I don't know why this is a thing, They should be outside and if you go outside at night have the chance to aggro one if they see you, not this magically appearing in your tavern where it should be safe for your patrons as well as yourself. 7- One last thing, the fact that you cannot move anything while there is something in it, !!ESPECIALLY THE CHESTS!! is friggen mind boggling. Why do I have to empty a storage chest before being able to move it???? 8- Anything you have to hunt or gather out in the wild is annoying. Apples, Mushrooms, Animals, etc are all very hard to find or sparce om general. The "world" is large enough but has literally nothing in it, or like I said takes too long to find to make any of it worthwhile. Unfortunately, a lot of recipes call for things like the mushrooms or quests (for the King) also take them as well. If this is really supposed to be considered co-op, the only aspect the devs actually considered is running the tavern because that takes up all the time. You really can't hunt anything or forage because there is nothing to find. I will say I am glad for certain changes, like the bucket not being a consumable anymore, but they basically did the same thing for the watering can (making it a consumable instead of just being an item to refill, it's now both. Hurray! Needless spending AND time wasted). Anyway, all in all the game needs work. Can I recommend it to people? Eh... it's a bit frustrating to be honest but it's relatively cheap so I'll leave that up to you. Don't make the mistake I did though and base your first impressions on the demo because it's different enough from the demo that may change your opinion of the game.
Nice and short. Really didn't expect myself to have so much fun I didn't even wait for a party to complete the game.
Très bon jeu coop, une ambiance très chill hyper agréable ! Quel bonheur de fracasser à coup de balais les alcooliques...
the game has a greate concept and i ejoyed playingit, but it desperately needs updates. the map is tiny, there are very few quests, and you can complete everything in less than 10 hours. if you play co-op 2 to 4 people, it's even worse-you finish everything in about 4 hours, and then managing the tavern loses it fun. once you buy all upgrades and machines, there is nothing lett to do. honestly, if i hadn't missed the refund window, i would have refunded it. i will gladly chance this to a possitive review if a developers release content updates, ideias: Expand the map wit new biomes and hidden areas. add more secrets, collectibles, and side quests to discovery during exploration. implement a deeper progression sstem for the tavern, machines, and caracters skills. ass more enemy types, wildlife, and advanced crafting mechanics to keep the late-game interesting.
A funny medieval, fantasy like tavern simulator, especially in co-op. Ale & Tale has a short quest line to keep you entertained for a whole evenening with your friends. Beer Brewing feels very satisfying. You can fight bears, wolves and demons. And the BEST part....you are able to kick out drunk customers with a broom. I can fully recommend Ale & Tale. Give it a try.
