About
In Alchemist's Awakening, you are a young alchemist who is still discovering how much power he has.
There are 9 primary elements, which can be mixed together and recombined into blocks of different shapes, or used as attacks against enemies.
Explore an infinite and procedurally generated open-world, use the Wind element to fly from a desert island to an iceberg, discover ruins of ancient builds deep in the forest, find rare resources and settle down somewhere to shape your own world as everything you see is made of small building blocks.
Find some villages and ask around for interesting places, there is a lot to discover.
As an Alchemist, you can recombine the 9 primary elements into other shapes and materials. Then you can place blocks anywhere in the world and build anything you can think of.
Build machines to help you collect elements: for example, create a big windmill to collect the Wind element.
If you like building more than everything, the Creative mode is made for you, with tools that let you build even faster.
Use powerful tools to terraform your own world, and then share your creations on the Steam Workshop or invite your friends to your world.
The Creative mode also let you create a real adventure map: you can write write your own quests, script your own special blocks with true gameplay changes.
All your creations can be shared in the Steam Workshop. Check out what other players made!
Every element can be used as a weapon: launch fireballs, create a strong wind that repulse enemies, or create swords and bows. Your attacks will get even more powerful when you combine several elements.
Fight againt the monsters you encounter in the world such as rhinos and thiefs, and fight against other players in co-op and multiplayer mode.
When you build something with a human shape, you can give life to it and it will start to move and animate.
Command it to follow you, guard your base or mine resources for you.
Depending on its shape and the type of block you used to build it, it will have different strengths and weaknesses.
Alchemist's Awakening comes with two ways to play with friends. There is an online mode where you can connect to servers, or you can at any moment decide to invite your Steam friends to come play in co-op with you in your world.

I thought the game was ok. Game is shorter than I would like. Controlling it could be a bit easier. Seems like it you can build quite a bit of stuff if that is your thing, but building detail is not as elaborate as in other games. There is an actual end (which sometimes other games fail to include.) Collecting resources and crafting newer items is something that continues to the end. Again some other games seem to reach a point where there is no point or nothing left to craft. But again pointing out that the main game is not that long. Different worlds can be generated and they are based on a seed so you could create same one again. Initially I recreated several times to get a 'better' starting position. So perhaps my play time would have been a bit longer if I had not done that. Sometimes it gets confusing. To find the recipes to build some structures you must notice the up arrow in the quest screen. Placing and getting the pipes to work is tedious but not required for the main game.
fun game but its short and simple
It isn't really bad there's just nothing here that you can't find in most other games in the genre.
Game is abandoned and incomplete. Building spawning is buggy as they often are generated below the ground level. It could have been good if they kept working at it, but there hasn't been an update since 2020.
played for 8.5 hours now the game dont load going to delete it
You can turn any structure into doors and have an army of men follow you 10/10
Just not good. Cheesy graphics and clunky mechanics with very little interesting content. It may be "released" but it is far from complete. Just say no.
Honestly had promise, the system for crafting is interesting, where instead of resources, you gain access to a pool of essence which you combine to craft basic materials early, and then later use this at crafting stations to craft both magic spells and more advanced items. Pros: Interesting idea for crafting Golem crafting Homunculus-Animal-pet thing? (Don't worry about this part too much, its just a basic animal companion) strangely beautiful voxel world Cons: The lack of end game content bare bones world with very little going on Same pet over and over again only a focus on golem crafting, some potions, no homunculi sadly no in game lore, just empty world. ***Judgement Call:*** Gonna shoot it straight with you ladies and gentlemen, this game had promise, I bought this a long while back, I think back when I was 18, got through some drama with people I liked back then, dealt with toxic situations, and this game felt peaceful and interesting to get my mind off it for the time I had it. I'm not gonna lie and say I think this is terrible, because it's a good game, just that there weren't many ideas that went into it. You guys came here for a review so I'll say this, if you're expecting a lot of interest and content, don't play it, but if you have an interest in seeing what game engines like unity can do, but besides that, this game is a sad little coffin for a game that never got to truly grow old.
Игра короткая и намешано всего подряд, финальный босс лёгкий, мир полупустой и как я понял процедурной генерации нет, что для меня огромный минус.
