I myself would not bother with this game, if not for the ball thing stated in trailer. Grow your Balls and all. It is perfectly functional JRPG that you will forget in few days or week at best after playing it. That has not much memorable to offer. A boring, unengaging main story, side quest that are just fetch-quests of various kind. Pacing so ♥♥♥♥ that you will be tired after three hours of play each time you boot the game, and world that is not so boring, but unused. Tbh this is level just barely better than three first final fantasy games in terms of plot. The only redeeming being some jokes between characters in cutsceens. But it also gets old pretty fast as main character has three love interest of questionable ages. (Really you ain't that smart that you add 1000 years to each of them, we knew what you mean when you make them 1014, 1016, 1018) Now there is also the thing of... Idk how to call it... Gachafication? You can pay double to get a simple powerups as dlc, more so there is gambling mechanics in terms of spinning wheel in game as well as rolling for special ORBS, that sometimes give you skins and such... ALL OF THAT IN MY PAID FOR SINGLE PLAYER JRPG!!! WTF WERE YOU THINKING? The only good thing about this game is combat mechanics, and whole Ball thing. You can find in wild orbs that hold abilities that then can be assigned to ANY character (which also have combat abilities of their own). Which is fun to startegize around diffrent builds of your team, then there is also grid mechanics, that allows you to create different formation applying additional buffs. If only everything else was so well thought off as combat was I would recommend it, and even call it a great game. But as it is. I DON'T LIKE IT.
