Your objective is to find a set number of dogs and bones hidden in 15 various works of art. You can zoom in and out of scenes with the mouse wheel, and you use the left mouse button to click on dogs and bones. Also, you can drag the scenes around by holding and moving your mouse, and if you have difficulties with finding any items, simply pressing the H button on the keyboard will indicate the direction in which an item is hiding. There are several Steam achievements, but they won't count towards a user's global total until the game is out of "profile features limited". [h2]Review[/h2] It's been a while since I last played one of the HOGs in the [i]I commissioned some[/i] series although I enjoy them very much. Feeling in the mood to destress and relax, I enjoy returning to this series from time to time. ^^ Although no story is present in this game (as tends to be the case with the games in this series), I don't mind it since I like to focus more on the gameplay. It's very fun and relaxing to play through the different scenes that are presented. Unlike some HOGs that only have one scene, this one has several scenes with varying pieces of art, providing varying levels of challenge. Of course, there's only one difficulty mode, which is definitely relaxing. XD I like that you can take your time to find all the dogs and bones since no timer is present and you have unlimited hints in case you get stuck on finding any items. With some scenes, it can be a bit difficult to find dogs or bones since they can be hidden very well, but it is doable to find them all. With achievements, I was able to obtain them without any problems. With the art, it's totally gorgeous. I like the hand-drawn style with the sprites and backgrounds, giving each scene its own personality and life. There's a nice variety of scenes from the modern day to the fantastical. The colors are chosen well, almost never feeling too bright. They have a good variety, from the quieter, laid-back kind to the livelier, fast-paced kind. Also, I enjoyed listening to the sound effects from the dogs when you click on them. They make this cute barking sound to let you know that they've been found. [h2]Conclusion[/h2] Would I recommend [i]I commissioned some dogs[/i]? If you're looking for a relaxing hidden object game in which you can play at your own pace but want a variety of scenes to make the gameplay exciting, you especially like dogs, and/or you want to find pretty obtainable achievements, then this game is definitely worth checking out. It's a great start to this particular series, and I'm eager to check out the other games. At the asking price, I'd say it's just about worth it since there are several scenes and the art is beautifully hand-drawn. I am a true fan of this hidden object series, above all the bees and the ladybugs. In this hidden object game you focus on dogs and bones, each piece of art they are mixed and more than 100 to find, so it is 15 artworks and 1500 hidden objects. The artwork is the best thing in the game, each one has different dogs in it and some bones are hard to find, even for trained players. I enjoyed the music and the cozy atmosphere. I can really recommend it, its as nice as the bees and other animals (even for a cat person). Soothing music, amazing artworks... start playing now ;) Enjoy it with something sweet! Cake balls Ingredients 1 package funfetti cake mix (regular size) 1 can (15.6 ounces) funfetti vanilla frosting 1 pound white candy coating, coarsely chopped Rainbow jimmies or nonpareils Directions Prepare and bake cake mix according to package directions, using a greased 13x9-in. baking pan. Cool completely on a wire rack. Crumble cake into a large bowl. Add frosting with candy bits and mix well. Shape into 1-1/4-in. balls. Place on baking sheets. Freeze for at least 2 hours or refrigerate for at least 3 hours or until cake balls are firm. In a microwave, melt candy coating. Dip each cake ball in coating; allow excess to drip off. Sprinkle with jimmies or nonpareils. Let stand until set. Store in an airtight container.

It is clear from the start that the difficulty comes from looking for the bones and not dogs. Not once in the fifteen levels did I end up looking for hidden dogs at the end of the level. Always two to seven bones. Otherwise the artwork looks great. Gotta say that even though the localization is lazy again (main title is never translated) this time the ambiance is really cool per each level. You not only get a song but also some extra sound that correspond in some way to the picture you are seeing. Nice touch. There is a hint system and while I didn't (plan to) use it I did end up clicking it a few times by accident because the bulb hit-box is rather large. As usual, game plays great on Steam Deck. On a sale or in a bundle it's a solid choice! I like hidden objects games, but here some of the objects are so poorly drawn than i am struggling to say if i am seeing the right thing or not
