Я не знаю як оцінювати такі ігри! Я за те щоб підтримувати українські ігри, але цей проєкт відверто поганий в усьому. Інші проєкти автора не грав. Дуже сподіваюсь, що вони зроблені на кращому рівні. Twenty-second: Stories of Underground Kharkiv – гра, яку хочеться підтримати за ідею, але неможливо за виконання.

Це одна з тих ігор, від яких завжди буде сумно. Але, цей сум не значить, що гра погана. Ні, ця гра чудова, вона про життя, про життя харків'ян на початку повномасштабної війни. Про тих людей, що жили в метро днями, тижнями, місяцями. Тому що там, нагорі, били бомби, літали літаки і дрони. Тому що там, нагорі, було дуже страшно. Так, зараз мало що змінилося, мій любий Харків продовжують обстрілювати, кидають ті ж ракети й бомби. Просто зараз люди до цього вже звикли, пристосувались, навчились жити в такій обстановці, в такому місті. І, все одно, ми любимо своє місто, ми любимо свій рідний Харків. А зараз ми любимо його ще більше, бо зараз йому боляче, зараз йому важко. І якщо ви, в іншому місті, країні, будь-якому куточку світа, почуєте про Харків, то знайте - ці люди завжди будуть любити своє місто. Навіть, якщо вони й не вдома. Але, зараз не про це. Ця гра розповідає саме про той період, період початку, коли люди боялися вийти на вулицю. Ховалися всією родиною в метро і сиділи на зв'язку з усіма рідними. Коли кожен день був наповнений страху і жаху, бо не знаєш чи витримає стеля, чи виживуть твої рідні, чи не загинуть кохані чоловіки. І в цьому сумному й наповненому страху місці, розповідається про вчителя, який не захотів покидати улюблену роботу і продовжив вчити дітей. Як він шукав інтернет, як спілкувався з людьми, записував їхні історії життя, підтримував дітей і жінок. Ця історія про вчителя, що на початку повномасштабної, вчив дітей в умовах метро і вів щоденник-біографію. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3346995654 Так, у гри є певні проблемки, вона трохи затягнута (як на мене), квести не завжди цікаві. Але, суть гри не в цікавості квестів чи гарній оптимізації, а в самому сюжеті. І про це треба пам'ятати. Я зі своєю родиною теж жила у метро на початку, на щастя не довго і ми швидко змогли виїхати з волонтерами за місто. Але, я ніколи не забуду цих днів. Тому я вважаю, що ця гра буде корисна для тих, хто не знає, не відчув і цікава для тих, хто в курсі. Всім гарних ігор і чудового настрою.

Alright. [i]Twenty-second: Stories of Underground Kharkiv[/i] is done and dusted. This is really less a game and more a propaganda piece with some Ukrainian history lessons mixed in. I sympathize with the people caught in the middle of this conflict. But I also do recognize propaganda as propaganda. I did very much appreciate the history lessons though. It took about 25 minutes to complete. I purchased it for 59 cents not too long ago, which I would say is exactly the correct price for this game. Anyway, let's begin this review with a bit of a discussion regarding a scene I took a screenshot of from the game. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3320992297 [i]She is also Russian, but she has no humanity in her. Like most Russians.[/i] This is a clear example of propaganda being placed within a game. Obviously, the actual people in both nations are actually just people. And as a rule, they're placed in untenable positions due to the very nature of nationalism. They are as human as the next person. What the real problem is....is borders themselves. What are borders really? Borders are arbitrary lines on a map that indicate which oligarchs' control which areas. We call those areas 'nations'. But they're really just playgrounds for oligarchs and corporations. And all the people living within those borders have to follow the specific set of rules their oligarchs have set forth and which they enforce via their henchmen. And that filters on down to people who really are just trying to live their lives within the restrictions placed on them in within the borders of the nation they live in. Additionally, people are typically restricted from living anywhere else without express permission. Which is in and of itself also crazy. And so people are taught to hate and fear people outside the purview of their own borders. On top of that, oligarchs don't always get along and usually covet areas controlled by other oligarchs. And for their greed, we get warfare, where normal people are tasked with the job of killing other normal people who simply have the misfortune of living in an area their oligarch(s) covet. So, when I see propaganda designed to dehumanize the people, where you are told they are your enemies and not human because of the directives of their oligarchs, it does not sit well with me despite completely understanding why it happens. Blindly following the directives of oligarchs also does not sit well with me, and in the case of the Ukraine/Russia conflict, we get to see all of this in real time. There are currently 2692 billionaires in the world, which are effectively the world's oligarchs. Juxtapose that with the roughly 8 billion people alive in the world, and that statistic tells a stark tale about the reality of our world, how said oligarchs as a matter of policy sow division to keep people from looking squarely at them, and how frail their rule truly is. Overall, the written translations are decent. There are however instances of there being no translation from Ukrainian. Additionally, while everything is voice acted, it is all in Ukrainian, and there are no subtitles. And often, this is conversation, not somebody reading something. Which makes those conversations quite mysterious to someone like me who does not speak Ukrainian. I would have liked for there to at the very least have been subtitles. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=3320992414 So, in the game itself, you play as a history teacher who, like many other people, have taken shelter in the Metro system to keep safe from the bombing and invasion they expect to be forthcoming. You really just run around the Metro chatting a few people up, offering history lessons to a kid, getting wi-fi set back up, drinking tea, making journal notes, and of course having a tasty plate of eggs and tomato sauce (?). You'll also read some books lying around the Metro station. Nothing too complicated from a gameplay perspective. I will say though that the objective marker is difficult to see. I found the way to make it more visible was to step into a train for a moment. For some reason, that makes the marker stand out better. Should you buy and try this game out? Sure. It is interesting enough. But don't give into the temptation of dehumanizing the Russian people for the sins of their leadership. But also, don't forget what the Ukrainian people are having to go through, also as a result of the Russian leadership's greed. It's always normal people who suffer for their leaders' excesses. Чергова гра про Харків, але не тільки про нього а про всю Україну, від розробника, що навіть при постійні обстріли, при наявності лише безкоштовних асетів творить важливу річ, а саме, намагається передати світу принаймі дрібку того, що в Україні досі триває страшна кривава війна де московити(росіяни) спокійно обстрілюють та вбивають мирне населення щодня. Гра не про графіку, не про інтерактивність чи варіятивність, вона про текст та посил. Українська гра :) Ну і звичайно є Українська з озвученням :) Розповідь про частину історії життя людей , а саме після 24.02.24. Враження Враження позитивні, коротка розповідь різних особистостей. Оцінка + Найголовніше , що мені сподобалось , що згадуються круті історичні Українські постаті,

Не треба ставити плюси лише тому, що гра українська і про війну. Що це було? Мені обіцяли "історії про Харківське метро 22 року", а отримав я якісь несмішні карикатури. Кожен "унікальний" персонаж - це карикатура. Геймплею як такого немає, графіка - це погано оброблені модельки, тому тягнути все має сюжет, але сюжет викликає НУЛЬ співчуття. Розумієте, я сам ночував у Харківському метро в лютому-березні 22 року, і мені було просто по**й на усіх персонажів цієї гри. Вони усі пластилінові. Актори грати не вміють, чутно, що тупо читають з листка. Суржик - нахіба? Розробники думають, що суржик додає якогось колориту чи що? Ні, не додає, принаймні не тут. Весь суржиковий вступ викликав лише огиду. Як і в принципі ця радянська хата, у якій герой прокинувся. Про самі "історії" навіть спойлерити нема чого, вони усі поверхневі, без початку, без кінця, і довжиною кожна з них не більше одного речення. Нормальні люди таке й історіями не називають. Чого хотів досягти автор? Що він хотів сказати цим? Який висновок і кому треба зробити після "проходження"? Гру купив півроку тому, не грав, боявся, може буде надто емоційною. Пограв - вона виявилася надто пластиліновою. Тема важлива, але ця реалізація - це просто жах і сором. В теорії після такої гри ти маєш сумувати, депресувати, злитися, радіти, будь-що, але ні - ця гра викликає абсолютно нуль емоцій. Розказує нуль історій. Змушує зробити нуль висновків. Це паразитування на темі війни. І через це я її не рекомендую.

I like this game, it's good in terms of atmosphere. Although the game has very... weak graphics, the atmosphere of tension and personal stories are still gripping. I am really looking forward to a big game on the theme of the war between russia and Ukraine, with good drama, graphics and an interesting plot, I think the theme deserves it. I'm glad the game is telling these stories. My personal rating is 7 out of 10.

Скоріше історичній документ про події перших днів війни, ніж гра. Ідея автора зафіксувати події цікава, але рівень виконання та деяка прямолінійність руйнують відчуття реалістичності. Такі ігри необхідні, але автору історику потрібен помічник професійний розробник і трохи якісних асетів.
