wanna live out your weird fantasy of being the famously terrible mustache man? now you can! (with mods) build your own unwieldy and crappy super weapons and rule the skies in a campaign map that reminiscent of any Total War game, just make sure not to violently explode
Scratches an itch that's a little bit map-painter, a little bit Alpha Centauri, a little bit... I don't really know, but its fantastic. You build big ol' dirigibles (Miyazaki would be proud) and tanks and shoot the ♥♥♥♥ out of other dirigibles and flying machines and monsters and tanks and its awesome.

Best 15 hours since I've began playing video game.
Its so maleable for different playstyles, very fun.
fun customizable 4x game. Haven't played any multiplayer as of yet, but my only complaint is that the giant tarantula is a little overtuned. then again, I likely haven't figured out the method to best deal with them yet.

Cool game, interesting interactions between the many mechanics in the ship combat which is the main focus of the game. Strategy elements are a little shallow, but doesn't matter as long as you are coming in with the understanding that it's all about the ship battled as they are very deep.
