Its the only souls-like that felt like Dark souls.
AI Limit is a really good game, and aesthetically it's probably my favorite game in recent years. That being said, it throws a couple of headaches your way. Tldr; good game, but don't get it if you have low patience or slow reflexes THE GOOD STUFF: + Surprisingly in-depth combat that rewards several playstyles. Want to play full-offense? Sure. Magic caster? You got it, the spells here are amazing. Fast-slasher that uses the power of necrosis and lightning? HELL YEAH. + The story is pretty good and deep. Lore lovers will be at home here. + Arrisa, our protagonist, is endearing. And the side characters are quite likeable in their own way. Really like how they were written. + Diverse enemy encounters, where even encounters among the same enemy type all feel different due to the large range of attack patterns. + The game's unique artstyle is honestly impressive. Outside of Khazan, I haven't seen many games that pull off what AI Limit can do with visual storytelling. + The weapons feel great to use. From quick slices to crunching the enemies' bones, no weapons feels dull or boring. This is a game that heavily rewards offensive playstyles. + A good 95% of weapons are good late-game. You can bring your early-game weapon to the final boss and it won't do too bad. + Decently large world that rewards exploration. There is a lot to see in this game, and its anime aesthetic is visually pleasing. + Winning is incredibly satisfying. Especially the bosses, which are spectacular, gleaming, and exuding aura. + Despite the rage-inducing elements, I can honestly say that the good outweighs the bad in a 85/15 ratio. THE BAD STUFF: - 90% of the elite enemies and 100% of the bosses have a combination of delayed attacks/erratic attack patterns/attacks that look similar but work different. This was a big source of frustration, especially early on. You'll need to persevere to feel powerful. - Two bosses are ATROCIOUS but not because of the boss, but because of the path to GET TO THE BOSS. One has five grunts and two elites that guard it (and they respawn if you kill them, heal, and come back). The other has you WAIT FOR AN ELEVATOR, and then run up a hill to re-fight him. Seriously, Devs, WHAT WHERE YOU THINKING? add a branch before the ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥
Seraphim Absolver
, geez. This level screams bad design. - Speaking of GARBAGE design, Underground Shaft. Hilariously poorly designed since the game is not made for platforming at all. I would sincerely scrap this level if I was a dev, since it adds literally nothing to the game, outside of delays and frustration. At least the previous ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ is a fight. - You have four defensive options (dodge, parry, shield, magic-dodge), but outside of shield, they're not really consistent. Shield is the most consistent, but it's rather weak. Parry if the best one, but it has a brutal learning curve. I'm citing this as a negative because it's sure to give 60% of players a headache. - The game's superboss is honestly overtuned. It is BRUTAL, but only because a lot of the attacks look the same, so memorizing their pattern is hard when you think you know the timing but get something else instead. The cues are too similar for each attack. "Oh, they're sheathing the sword, that means either fire slash, overhead, or teleport slash... Oh, it was dash attack. F*CK". Of course, I know a superboss is supposed to be difficult, especially in a souslike. But it still was pretty frustrating, so I wanted to give a heads-up. - You'll probably need to use backup saves to get all three endings in one playthrough. CONCLUSION: Honestly, I can see the foundation for a perfect game here. AI Limit has a LOT to love, and it's great to play. Is it perfect? Hardly. Does it have some true headaches here and there? For sure. Is it worth buying? Yes, definitely. Just keep a video walkthrough in handy, just in case. 7.8/10

Pretty good.
我已经是巨羊翻滚和小圆盾弹反发射器了
Really nice game. It is somewhat like CODE: VEIN with a twist. Nice Souls-Like and challenging. The parry has a big window (i think that, because it is easy to get a parry), so it is beginner friendly. I have platiniumed Sekiro, ER and other Souls-Likes, just for info. Would definitly recomment. PS: Buy it on discount ;)
Loved the game pleasantly surprised by this one. Peak level design and layouts. The exploration felt rewarding throughout. I'm putting it up there among my must play indie Souls likes. Gonna tackle the DLC next. Hope it's just as good.
