재미있어요
Age of Wonders 4 and Planetfall are both great games. I like Planetfall a bit more. Upside compared to planetfall are -just more of everything. Spells , units , Sub Factions ... if you buy the DLCs -campaign maps no longer have carry over effects. (it never broke the campaign in Planetfall but still caused issues) Downsides compared to planetfall: -Ranged units cannot shoot at close range nor easily disengange (and the combat maps are small ) -Hexfields on world maps are very small. That many hexfields per province dont add any gameplay. Unlike planetfall that makes it hard to play on small screens (Steamdeck, small Laptop) -No galactic conquest mode after campaign, "only" single maps (there the carry over is a motivating advantage) -The research tree being a huge number of spell books needs a better overview so that you can plan it better. -High Quality of DLCs for both but it feels Age of Wonders 4 DLCs has less content. (i.e. Factions in Planetfall had more content per faction than the average Age of Wonders 4 faction) Note: At the time of writing i own about 3/4 of the DLCs. So some features of the newer DLCs might not be considered.
Can't be compared with the depth of Crusader Kings but still a great game.
Jeez, you can spend a whole day playing this game without even noticing
Fantastic fantasy 4X. AoW4 is turn based with random generated world map and premade turn-combat arenas. All the pop-ups are fun and make you want to engage with the game and its world. The roleplay is fun and viable. (i dont usualy like roleplay) Everything is customizable and higly adaptable during game. This game is better version of Heroes of MIght and Magic, Civilization, Stellaris and Total Warhammer together. DLC and mods add a lot of content. (PARADOX games need only host to own the DLC for everyone to play them.)
I wanna play factorio with Doug
