The game is incredibly glitchy and softlocks frequently after combat. There's interactions where NPCS can take your money and then fail to give you the items, and the game doesn't let you go back and retrieve it- and the NPC remains glitched for the last of the run and unable to give you said item. And travel is incredibly slow. I have tried to like this, but it's a miserable experience
10hrs in one day and still have and just finished the first part. The game keeps you interested for sure in the story line. Does have some open world world to it, rogue like style play,
也就战斗系统比较可以,对话真的是节奏太慢了,而且自动遇敌也是,走一步路就遇到一次敌人,飞了半天全在对话真的没意思
Cons: Extremely slow travel, as well as 2 second delays where they aren't needed. Fonts and conversation text location makes reading a lot harder than it should be. Quite cheesy conversations and interactions at times. Inability to compare equipped items to those in shops. Some bugs with buying/selling. Low ship range turns map into a railroad where you have to stop at nearly every "station". Still a really enjoyable, chilled, story-driven RPG despite the cons. Works smoothly on Linux(Pop). As others have said, it feels like an ode to the Firefly series. 6.5/10 Worth it on sale.
Simple RPG with great wordlbuilding and passable story. There is not much freedom and usual RPG choices (basically you just upgrade your ship and thats it). You are expected to follow the story (I would even go as far as call the game Visual Novel). On the other hand, it works reasonably well and... come on... steampunk Wild West has real charm ;) Game gave me more than hour of enjoyment for a buck, so thumbs up.
Wow, it's very rare for me to finish a game I hate. So good job, I guess? Of course, that's because I only hate it because of the last 30 seconds of gameplace. Make no mistake, the ending *plot* is fine. I like a pyrrhic victory story as well as anyone. It's the implementation of that which makes this the worst ending to any game I've played in the last 10 years. No spoilers, but nothing you, as the player, do matters. Fine, games with linear fixed stories can be good. No, *nothing* matters. The whole game, you know you're headed for a big fight. Better take the time to figure out a ship design that works well. Except nope, you *must* lose the last 2 fights. I'm quite certain the second to last fight is scripted so the enemy never misses. The last fight doesn't even do you that courtesy. It just lets you knock it down to half health and then it regenerates all further damage. Without any comment. I did enough damage to kill the stupid thing thrice over, before I got bored and gave up. If you're supposed to lose, give it weapons with enough accuracy that you *will* lose. Or interrupt the fight like happens previously to do something scripted. Or skip the whole last fight and just make it a cutscene. Or make an alternate hard ending where you win the fight (the worst of these suggestions, but if you're going to let the player fight, you better account for the possibility of them winning). Or make the world a better place and delete the whole thing from steam. *Anything* would be better than the terrible UX of the endgame. Anyway, I'll think really hard before I look at anything by this developer again. It's a pity since it was decent up till then.
Not for everyone, but the Far-West/Steampunk mix with a great story made it a very enjoyable playthrough for me.
It's a good game, UI has some bugs when trading and equipping/unequipping, but overall writing and gameplay works as supposed. EDIT to NEGATIVE; UI now is freaking out and during trades unable to purchase or sell items. Also many conversations don't give dialogue option and thus break the game.
The atmosphere is great, drawing, writing and noise background great a unique vibe. The world building makes sense, I care about the characters. The combat seems fairly easy so far, when you think a bit about the systems and its implications. I am curious how the story continuous.
Fun Western with airships using antigravity technology. I know that turn-based combat system isn't for everyone, but I really enjoyed this. Story was surprisingly good, too.
