Absolute garbage. Played this since EA all the way back in 2014. Game has nothing to do with management and everything to do with repeatedly clicking lots of small icons a bazillion times. Horrible pseudo-retro pixel art. Uninspired music. Sluggish animations and room transitions that make your grandmother on her walker look like the next gen Need For Speed game. Humor is as complex and subtle as Chris Pontius and Steve-O stuffing fireworks into a porta-potty. Completely janky game system that punishes any kind of macromanagement and forces you to play it like a terrible Flash browser RPG from the late 90's. Avoid like COVID19.

Game was fun during early access but some frustrating changes brought the game down. Game had potential too.
A true adventurer manager would have the adventurers do their adventuring without direct interference, but here you must actually do the dungeon crawling yourself. Fail.
Adventure Manager is a resource management RPG in which you manage teams of adventurers as you attempt to unite a kingdom against an evil sorcerer. The game features simple pixelated art and music which is fairly uninspired. This would be pretty easy to forgive if the gameplay was good, but I’m afraid it isn’t. There is dungeon crawling - both a manual and automated variety, neither of which is particularly gratifying, and also another sort of “menu gameplay” where you’re managing your adventurers, upgrades to your castle, etc… There are tons of little features and intricacies in this game - but I’m afraid that without a more fun way to access them and receive feedback, the game just falls flat. The controls and UI are awful in this regard - things are hard to find and unwieldy to access, and I believe that with an overhaul to how the game is presented it would be a lot better. Conceptually, I like the premise of this game - let’s cut out the dungeon crawling and make a sort of meta-game about adventuring. But there still needs to be gameplay and it still needs to be fun and not tedious. On an opposite sort of extreme - Cookie Clicker is a more fun game than this (despite the obviously higher promise of this game). It is interesting to me how some of the concepts in this game are now seen in Riot’s Teamfight Tactics (party bonuses for composition, etc…). Full disclosure - I only played the game for a little over 2 hours, and just couldn’t get into it enough to justify continuing with it. For those who do get into it, I’m sure you’d get more out of it, but I still can’t recommend it. Recommend?: No Rating/10: 3 Value @ $5 (estimate)? 2 hours/dollar (good) Hours played for review: 2
Not a big fan of the combat but like how I get to manage and delegate so many heroes and build up my odd little castle thing.
Initially fun but quickly becomes chore like
Management simulator of dungeon crawler teams. Very similar to Darkest Dungeon, although it came out earlier. Great ideas - many races and classes, crafting equipment, city building. Unfortunately, this is all implemented horribly. Everything that is in the game is made uncomfortable. There are dozens of weapons, but no way to conveniently compare and choose them. You can contain a couple of dozen characters, but no way to quickly compare their parameters. As a result, two-thirds of the time you have to spend scrolling through lists and writing out possible builds.
The Visuals are ass, the name of the Game doesn't describe it very well and did i mention looking at it makes me want to die? I keep occasionally installing the Game just to remind myself why i uninstalled it again, it's like a Curse. It's really hard to give this game a chance when the Dwarves are literally a stretched Human Sprite or the Elves are also a stretched Human Sprite. Wait, are all the usable Races Human Sprite variations? Yikes. The Visuals are probably my biggest gripe with the Game, and maybe its even the only one but Jesus on a pogostick flipping off my Dad making burgers, this Game sucks ass! Want to give your King a different robe? Too bad, there's only one robe option! Even a hecking sprite comic from 2013 is better than this! (Okay, maybe they're on even ground as most of those are pretty bad too.) I don't even know what i'm complaining about anymore! They could have added at least something, like giving giants a unibrow! Ugh, i'm going to go post this review and do some edgy monologues, finishing off with a nice scream in the complaint corner.
I've already ask for help with this. but no help so far. When my adventures are in a dungeon I clear a room then the game hangs up and I can not go any further. its frustrating.
