Prices
Each in the currency that store quoted — not converted: the gap between two rows is the publisher's pricing, not an exchange rate.
Availability
We put this game to every storefront we collect. A market that answered not sold has told us something about the game; a market we never asked has not, and the two are never drawn the same.
Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.33/day in the week to Aug 4 → 0.29/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,400 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Actraiser for SNES was a favorite growing up. The remake is still Actraiser: a novel blend of hack and slash + city building sim with great music. Like with many of their remakes, SqEx felt the need to add things to the remake rather than just give it a graphical overhaul. Unfortunately, a lot of the additions fall flat. There's a bunch of additional story added to each area, which is fine. Instead of your villagers automatically sealing monster lairs they reach, you have to do a mini-level. None of these take more than 20-30 seconds but they aren't particularly interesting. Finally, there's a bunch of mandatory tower defense stages added on the overworld map. These just aren't very well-designed. There just aren't many natural choke points so you set your towers where you can and hope to supplement them with your heroes and magic as best you can. But then the enemies start having magic resistance and/or flying and everything just gets incredibly annoying and tedious. I could have done without this. Hindsight 20/20 and all, but I would have liked to see some quality of life improvements like your civilization automatically upgrading (maybe the villagers slowly replace older structures) rather than you needing to earthquake everything each time your civ levels up. Especially since, with the updated graphics, it's not always clear what civilization tier various buildings are at. Also adjacent developed tiles automatically connecting so you don't need to manually guide progress between them would be nice. Finally, I would have liked to be able to track how many +Max MP scrolls I'd found in a level while in it. Weirdly, many of the additions are anti-QoL. For example, you get tomes that level up the tower defense champions that you have to manually use but the tomes are character specific and there's no reason to horde them (self-imposed challenge?) so why not just auto apply them? Also, resources to build towers are Tedious with a capital T. I found myself spending most of my time sitting around waiting for fields and factories to generate mana and resources so that I could progress. It's about as fun as it sounds. Overall it holds up and I would recommend it but some of the additions make me want to just pop in the original and play that instead.

14 of 15 markets; the rest we haven't asked for this title, not markets where it is unavailable.
14 on sale1 answered “not sold”0 we did not ask
The 1 “not sold” market is read from the Steam price pass of Aug 25: that day the store answered for this game elsewhere and gave no price there. The 14 priced markets are the same rows as the table above — each the latest price we hold, dated here when it is older than that pass. The 0 marked “not asked” were not put to this store at all — either it has no storefront there or we do not collect it yet, and neither is a statement about the game. A refusal is a refusal on one day; a store can list a title again tomorrow.

They added a bunch of stupid mechanics to it. GRRRRRRRRR
I enjoyed this for what it was. The new soundtrack alone makes this worth playing. I can't really give it a full thumbs up because the sim building/tower defense mode is such a slog.If they could have cut tha toiling and grinding in half I would be much happier recommending it. If you find it on sale and want to experience ActRaiser once again. I have to say you'll have an alright time barring the issues I've mentioned above 6.2/10 I'll definitely replay the original and buy this soundtrack on Vinyl because that is God tier 10/10 classic Yuzo Koshiro
I found the combat updates in this version to take the game too far away from the original. I did not enjoy playing it and have requested a refund after playing the first stage.
A pretty interesting remake. I'm a huge fan of the SNES classic and overall prefer that version, probably for nostalgia sake, but this was still a pretty fun time. Some new added features here and there to add some more gameplay, and some more fleshed out characters to add a little more to the story, Also a really nicely done new orchestral soundtrack, although the option for that classic sound is available too. Overall, I had fun with it and recommend for big fans of the classic, or a newcomer just looking for something neat.
a great remaster of an already great game that mixes world building with platforming.
A faithful remake of Actraiser, with expanded story elements and an extra realm. I didn't mind the tower defense stuff, but after you beat the game once they can be turned off. There's also an action levels-only mode too. While I would have preferred more hi-res graphics, the graphics work well enough. There is also new and redone music by Yuzo Koshiro himself. Overall I recommend!
