Discounts
Every price cut of more than 20% we have observed, in each market that quoted one, with this game's chart position on either side of it. These are episodes, not a model: a sale is one event, and one event cannot tell you what the next one will do.
Reviews, worldwide (the counter carries no country): 0.29/day in the week to Sep 15 → 1.25/day in the week after.
For scale, across Steam · Top Sellers · Brazil over the last 30 days: the 26 chart moves that followed a price cut of more than 20% went a median of 7 places towards #1, and the 2,402 moves with no price cut behind them went 2 away. One store, one chart, one country — it is the only place we have enough observations to say even that.
Prices outside the United States have been collected since 6 August 2026 and chart positions since 19 July 2026, so a cut older than that has no market to compare and a market that joined later has no history yet. Nothing here is converted between currencies.

Paradox Bloatware.
120 bucks of DLC, "insert look how they massacred my boy dlc" As others said, you are constantly reminded what you are missing, great game otherwise... The Paradox launcher tips the balance to negative review

The game itself is fairly fun, but the company has chosen to no longer update their console version, effectively scamming them out of reasonably expected updates. I cannot, in good conscience, recommend anything from a studio that has chosen to scam someone this way.
This game is somewhere between a yes and a no. The good parts are really good, and the bad parts are really bad. The original game, without any DLCs isn't quite worth the price in my opinion. Compared to Slay the Spyre, this game does some things better, and some things worse. The artwork is very distinctive, and the original cast of characters is really appealing. Combat is much more different that in STS, and you can build your characters a certain way to boost the effects of different cards and form a play style to your liking. However, some DLCs are flat out overpriced and don't bring enough to the game. The original game with 16 characters, and 3 base acts, as well as a plethora of items costs 20 euros, yet the DLC with 1 new character, a few new items, and a map costs the same amount? I think the price should either go down, or the amount of content in each DLC should be greater. All in all, the first time experience is wonderful and refreshing, but at one point it gets stale and you probably won't want to play the game for the next while.
Played a ton when this game released, tried to reinstall to see what's changed over the years and... apparently they want me to get a special launcher for this game. Then I look and see that there's $100 dollars of DLC, which in fairness I should point out is optional. Then I look at the reviews and it sounds like bugs have become a huge issue. Sounds like Paradox ♥♥♥♥ the bed and turned this into a worthless money grab when they acquired the game from the original developer. Just trash. If you're part of Paradox and you're reading this, know that I'm disappointed in you. Take your special launcher and shove it; I don't want your pointless bloatware on my computer. If you get rid of that then I'll at least be willing to give the game another try.

Annoying and predatory if you dont have all the DLCs since they're part of the base gameplay/maps and end up wasting your time by baiting you with ! and then being unable to interact due to not owning the DLCs. With the DLCs, it's a pretty decent game with a lot of content/unlockables. Though slightly expensive, but will get you at least beat the 1$/hour of game time threshold. Fun deckbuilder with nice RPG elements. Interesting builds, but some characters seem to have obviously more optimal paths and you can definitly abuse buff stacking to make the content trivial.
Отличная игра похороненная монетизацией
Instead of bug-fixing and performance-optimization (and oh boy, there is so much potential for performance optimization...) they add crap like npc-cheating (called adaptive gameplay) which nobody ever asked for... yeah, so even with some hours on the clock I would not recommend this game until the developers get their game together and maybe try something new like "testing and bugfixing *before* releasing". As someone who works in developing myself, I know, this sounds scary and even revolutionary, but just give it a shot, Maybe even the reviews will get better, who knows...
