Straight mobile port. Feels a bit repetitive with lots of grinding to get past later stages. Controls are ok. Sounds are mediocre. I would recommend grabbing second game as it seems as a much better option.
Dont even think about it. May be old and cheap but not worth it. Skyforce series basically obsoletes this game and the sequel has even more questionable mechanics. A grindy shooter game with permanent upgrades is difficult to make and this one will test you in ways that is anything but fun even if you think you may want to grind.
"You can't defeat der Reich!" indeed...
What could've been a thoroughly fun game is ruined by what seems like endless grind and massive difficulty spikes, the visuals are nice though.
Aces of the Luftwaffe is a classic bullet hell game that, at first glance, may appear somewhat mundane and unoriginal. Indeed, it doesn't break new ground in the genre, but for what it aims to be, it delivers a fun experience during its brief runtime. The gameplay is characterized by intense action and frequent barrages of enemy fire, typical of the bullet hell genre. One of the notable aspects is the abrupt difficulty spikes, particularly evident during some of the boss battles. These sudden increases in challenge can be both exhilarating and frustrating, depending on your tolerance for difficulty. Visually, the game is competent, providing the expected aesthetic for this type of game. The graphics aren't groundbreaking but are sufficiently polished to keep you engaged. The three different planes you can choose from offer some variety, each with unique characteristics that can be upgraded. However, the upgrade system is where the game falters; the cost to upgrade is prohibitively high, often resulting in players sticking to a single plane throughout their playthrough. On the positive side, the game features amusing voice acting, adding a layer of charm and personality to the experience. This helps to inject some humor and liveliness into what could otherwise be a repetitive gameplay loop. In conclusion, Aces of the Luftwaffe is an enjoyable game, though it suffers from a short duration and some balancing issues. It's worth a play for fans of the genre, but don't expect it to hold your attention for an extended period.
Junker Junker An old game from the mobile game genre, but a good one. You have a choice of fighter planes and a total of 5 campaigns to choose from. It's simple and fun to eliminate hordes of enemy squadrons. You can successfully play through the game in less than 10 hours. My only negative point is the price, which could definitely be cheaper compared to other games, but otherwise a nice change.
