Power Ranger sucks. Super Time Force Ultra is THE REAL DEAL. Obliterate everyone in sight is the only viable option.
I really don't get why this game didn't become a hit in the indie world. It has a cool idea of time travel that isn’t just rewinding. It creates alternate versions of the player cumulating the efforts. So if you kill 10 enemies and grab 3 collectibles, rewind the ghost version of the past you (like one in racing games) will again kill those enemies and grab those collectibles. In that time you can choose a different hero and kill 10 other guys and grab different collectibles. You can even meet at the end and kill the boss faster together. If your character dies you can try to save him with a new one by eliminating the thing that killed them. This will allow you to absorb that character and combine powers with your current one. You like the basic attack of one hero and ult from the other? Just get one killed, save them and voila, you get the hybrid you wanted. What’s not to like here? OK, jet pack levels are a bit awkward but there’s only two of them. Campaign is a sandbox for you to play with time and do some crazy stuff without much limitation. After you finish it there’s 50 levels of puzzles that will test your skills and creativity. They are really good. It's not something shoved in. The story, dialogues and generally everything is very silly but enjoyable as it’s served in small doses. If you’re looking for some crazy action game with a bit of platforming and puzzle sprinkled on it this is the game. Oh, and that title VO in the beginning is ultraaaa good. Good to know: - Campaign lasts around 6h if you’ll focus on collecting stuff… - …and collecting stuff makes the game better by forcing you to be more creative and it also unlocks new things that will unlock other things. Everything is connected man.
STFU literally means Shut The ♥♥♥♥ Up (title name)
This game has a great grasp on what it wants to be, and shoots for the moon! It mixes action and tactics into a tight gameplay loop, and the story brings a lot of lighthearted levity. Just a fun game to play, the whole way through!
Getting 100% was fun at start but quite grindy and desk-hitting towards the end. approximate amount of time to 100%: 20+ hours Estimated achievement difficulty: 8/10 Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 56 levels. (7x4 Levels Normal and hard), 50 for Helladeck. Multiplayer achievements: No. Missable achievements: No, level select available. Grinding Achievements: Somewhat, Many levels over and over. Good thing they're small at least. DLC-Only achievements: No. Time-gated achievements: No. Speed-run achievements: No. (All stages are technically speedruns, but that's the game design) RNG-achievements: No. Does difficulty affect achievements: Yes!!! Hardcore mode completion needed. Unobtainable/glitched achievements: No. Point of no return: No. Is there a guide: Steam guide on characters by Heetmang is good. There used to be a Helladeck guide but it broke. Youtube can help here.(Protongue's all looker's guide is awesome) First achievement unlock: Die 3 seconds after spawning. Notes: * Use rocket jump and fuel-can jump. It's great for speed and air * A lot of the achievements are "Do X action with Y character Z times". * The collectibles progress is NOT shared between normal and hard. Recommend collecting on easy to spam needed characters. Not much to say about this one. It's exactly what it says on the tin. The achievement experience is quite good, no red flags, simple tasks. The grind comes at the end when you want to get all medals + hard. Over 51%, recommended.
