About
DeadCore Redux is a FPS-Platformer that blends exploration and speedrunning.
It will challenge your platforming skills and your precision as you explore a futuristic megastructure built around a gigantic Tower. Explore hidden paths full of danger, find the original Sparks and maybe you will end the current Cycle.
After an endless fall through powerful magnetic storms... you awaken.
Your memory erased, you start exploring the world around you until you spot the most gigantic Tower emerging from the mists.
Deep inside, you know the only way to get answers is to reach its Summit.

Use your SwitchGun to activate or deactivate complex mechanisms and the numerous patrolling entities.
Find upgrades to improve its powers and unlock new moves - like the Dash - allowing you to take new shortcuts and explore new areas of the Tower.

In addition to upgrades, many collectibles are to be found to lift the veil on the origins of the Tower: Sparks that unlock new challenging levels, Logs that contain memories of former explorers of the megastructure, music Tracks to build a custom playlist for Speedrun Mode…

Players looking for a challenging experience haven’t been forgotten and will find:

additional levels to unlock for Speedrun Mode

played this game as a kid ~10 years ago, now playing this as a sort of adult -- and the magic is still there... highly recommend!!
I absolutely love this game! The graphics and sound design is much improved over the original. It feels ruthless and unforgiving at first, but you quickly learn how to deal with each obstacle and enemy. You start to adapt and to master your movement and precision. It tests your agility and quick thinking and really gets the adrenaline going. I recommend this game, especially if you like movement shooters and 3D platforming, or if you loved the original and want to support the developers, but note that it is the same game with a makeover and one additional level.
Very faithful remake to the original game. Everything has been rebuild from scratch, and the improvements to its original 2014 version are jaw-dropping. From sound design that makes you feel like you're in a movie, to new visuals that make the game look beautiful across all angles, to brand new UI that really sells the modernization of the game, to the extra bit of content exclusive to the Redux, it's hard to pass up a game like this. There are lots of fps platformers out there, but none are quite like this one, and i believe that this game stands out from the crowd. Definitely give it a shot!
The original DeadCore was one of my core gaming memories as a teenager, so I was very excited for this remake! It doesn't disappoint. The movement feels just as great as ever (I LOVE the new sound effect for dashing, it's wonderful), and the atmosphere is on point. My one complaint is that moving platforms can be quite buggy, and don't seem to animate any faster than 60fps, making them look somewhat out of place when playing at a higher frame rate. The new level isn't anything special, but it didn't need to be. It's a fun addition that makes reaching the true ending feel more climactic. There's also a new ranking system, if that's your thing. I'm working my way towards getting S-rank on all levels, since that's the only achievement I have left! Overall, totally worth the asking price. I hope these talented devs can find the inspiration to make another game in the future <3
😏 gameplay: https://youtu.be/tzzknp88eE8?si=IX6GKGB9bZmyMvf2&t=762
