Take over a small dungeon that no adventure is interested in as a new manager. You'll start with almost nothing and recruit minions, accumulate money, construct facilities, develop technology, explore the realm, have the dungeon's name up, defeat other dungeons and win the championship of the Dungeon League.

I have bought a lot worse than this, much is not explained well, some is not explained at all. I pretty much ignored exploration and the monthly battles. I played around 3 yrs in game or so I think. My main problem is you have too many hero's. It's hard to get to like/know them well when you have to keep so many. It's cheap enough and fun enough that I certainly don't regret the purchase.
Another FM-like game. Amazing to be the coach in abyss. "Bad instruction"? No. There's no instruction. I wish the developers could add it in the next update. BTW, although this game doesn't have a macOS/Linux version, it behaves well with Steam Play
Game playable. But you need some time to adjust to the bad UI. When you start a game, you see the channel that you need to defend in the top left, you can put your monster their. In the top right side, it is the building space. You use the material to build up your building space. In the bottom panel, you get your weekly report ,view your monster detail , do explorations and research and etc. At start , you can build up a new dormitory and recruit 5 new monster by resumes. Then you review your monster detail, name the monster by the ability. Then you assign some of your monster to the building. Put your monster to the deploy channel when there are invaders. The you gain the prestige when you defeat the invades(and exploration). You make money to raise your monsters. You collect material to improve the buildings. The game is a slow game, the interesting part of the game is to find the good monster with rare and good trait. You can get monster by 3 way, the resumes, recruit by headhunter(every 7 days), defeat the invaders(by chance).
