really awesome and cool one on one combat, shame most the bosses have ganks and a evil ass duo fight
Great game, only get it now for the campaign the multiplayer is long gone. pick it up on sale and youll be having a great time for cheap. This laid the groundwork for SIFU
Как Dark Souls, но надо бить в пах!
please disable EAC at this point, linux users would definitely enjoy this on a steamdeck.
Its ok.
To begin with, the idea behind the system mechanics is amazing. I love the idea behind the game, and I enjoy the art style quite a bit. It reminds me of Ashen, but with a more complex combat system. As much as I'd love to recommend this game, it'd only be worth purchasing during this 90% sale as paying $30 is not worth what you get. An Absolver 2 would genuinely feed families where they expanded on the combat system and most importantly resolved the major issues of the game, when it comes to consistent bugs stated below. It's sad that the amazing concept of this game is just forgotten about Unbelievably horrible management from the developers on the part of actually making sure that the timing and consistency with blocking, parrying, and dodging all worked. Half the time I'm blocking, full stamina bar, and I take damage to the same move I just blocked. Not to mention the random lag when entering areas which makes it so that I have to relaunch the game in order to actually be able to play since all my hits register 1 second after I hit them, and all the hits I take immediately register. On the same note, parrying has the smallest window I've ever seen, and half the time it makes 0 sense to parry because it didn't even register. Dodging doesn't get you anywhere if you aren't on the windfall/dex build, and the NPCs seem to always be able to dodge/parry ever attack at times. To think that blocking will sometimes do quite literally nothing is insane. This game is post dark souls 3, and they had 0 excuse to leave the game in this abhorrent state where the consistency of mechanics is the downfall. This game sadly has the illusion that multiple styles are playable, however, it just boils down to abusing a dex build that lets you attack faster with staggering moves to the point where even if you are parried the other player will not be able to attack you fast enough with a heavy attack before you can immediately just throw a quick jab to stop their attack. It's legitimately agonizing and I enjoy the game, but when some ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ happens that ruins a fight it makes me question if playing this was ever worth it.
Prolly the most underrated thing this decade
Kung fu deck builder for sigma nerds
