Absolute Drift

In Tokyo drift Brian Tee was called DK as in Drift King because he was the best at drifting. But now, I can be considered somewhat of a DK too, because I just drew a bunch of d*cks with my car for 2 hours straight with the passion of a shodōka. I love 'em sumi tyres just like me girlfriend - [i] a frustratingly zen experience. [/i]

Good game. The top-down art style looks great and the driving feels tight. My problem is me: I'm bad at drifting and I don't have the hours to grind out clean lines. That's not the game's fault. If you have some time to practice, or you're just naturally good at this stuff, buy it. The core is solid and the fun is real once it clicks.

Absolute Drift is one of those games that fights you at first and then rewards you hard once it clicks The learning curve is real, took me a good hour just to stop fishtailing into every wall, controller is definitely the way to go for this one. But once you get the feel for the drift it's exceptional, that moment where everything clicks and you start chaining slides is something else Only gripe is the price, wait for a sale and grab it under 10€, it's worth it at that price for sure
