About Love, Hate And The Other Ones 2

This game is a classic example of a lazy indie game sequel. I remember playing the first game and it had some good puzzles near the end. I love the characters (one of them is my profile avatar) but the humor and presentation are a one trick pony in this case. This game is in 3D but it really doesn't matter because the 3D space is used only when you are getting around the corners. So, the 3D space is only getting in the way of the game play because you have to adjust the camera often on the bigger levels. The controls are bad. The zoom is very slow if you are using a mouse wheel, if you adjust the camera with the left mouse click there is a big chance you will move your character... Look, I had to use combined controls mouse and keyboard when it is really not necessary. You can skip this one because if offers less than the first game. I do not enjoy writing a negative review for a indie title but I have to be honest. My honest opinion is that you should buy the first game and ignore this one.

This is the sequel to the 1st game turned into a 3D view but kept all the fun and cute mechanisms plus a few more original mechanisms added. The second I played this, the 1st thing that came to mind is that this needs a level editor and community workshop for players to share their puzzles and it would've been perfect and probably added hundreds of play time to this game! Though until then, it's still a pretty fun puzzle game to have. Fully recommended!

More Love, more Hate and now in 3D. The puzzle concept is almost the same as in the first game but now it's in 3D. So puzzles can go around a corner which makes it even harder. A great puzzle game and a fantastic follow-up to the first game. Not really much to say, it's just all-around high quality - good mechanics applied in interesting ways across all levels. The bonus stages were really fun. I only have 2 small issues: 1) I would have liked some degree of non-linearity because when you are stuck there isn't much to do if you've finished the bonus stages. I did get stuck on one level near the end and had to look up a guide, 2) the pathfinding in the 3D space isn't all that great. A lot of times they just won't move to a spot even if they can or they'll decide to take a path that will drop them down a level with no way up, thing like that. Not a major issue, but it is annoying. Highly recommend.
