Highly recommended if you liked Bonfire Peaks. Both games look similar at first, but BarrelBots is much more about maneuvering in restricted spaces (such as levels 5-3 and 6-1). The half-block steps and elevators add a great twist, but overall, this game does not introduce too many new mechanics. And a final WARNING: carrying barrels on your head is included (just like in Bonfire Peaks).
A solid 3D sokoban game with a total of ~70 levels. The difficulty isn't too high and the puzzles are accessible without hint system. Some of the level presentations are interesting. The main character is also adorable. One downside is that some physics interactions can feel a bit awkward, and I encountered a few bugs that require reset of levels or hubs during my playthrough. Not game-breaking but worth mentioning. Overall, it's a fun and enjoyable puzzle game. If you like grid-based puzzle games, I think it's worth checking out.

(Disclaimer: I was one of the playtesters for this game) BarrelBots is a rather difficult sokoban game in which you control a robot moving around barrels. The main gimmick is to do with the third dimension. The barrels are twice as tall as the player, and there are lifts that can send you upwards, which lets you grab onto them from different heights. There are also other defect bots that are the same size as the player that you can move around too. These height differences allows for a ton of interesting interactions in regards as to how you can stack and move the different objects. Over the course of 5 worlds the game introduces a few new mechanics, but most of the new things you discover are new interactions between previous mechanics. It is a bit reminiscent of Stephen's Sausage Roll in this regard, where these interactions are the natural outcomes you would expect, but still feel suprising. The game is pretty difficult, but never unfair. While the difficulty curve isn't exactly smooth, each level has a difficulty rating that you can see before starting, so that you know what to expect. You also don't have to beat every level in a world to progress, but you do get rewarded for doing so. Other puzzle games like Bonfire peaks have also used height as a mechanic, but I don't think any of them have explored it to this degree. The game never looses it's focus on finding interesting outcomes of using the third dimension, and this is one of it's best features. I highly recommend this game if you're looking for a delightfully fresh take on sokoban!
