I came across this game while picking tomatoes from my tiny garden. It was fun to see a rat biting a tomato in a Sokoban-style game… wait—was it a tomato? An apple? Heck, who knows… I just wanted to flex that I’m capable of growing some healthy tomatoes all by myself. This tiny garden is my personal paradise. I love tomatoes. But I must confess—this passion of mine was acquired and inspired by… Gianina. See, life is always packed with the entropy of love and destruction. You build an empire of greatness only for it to be destroyed in seconds. You love, just to be rewarded with ruin. Gianina was the kind of woman you never forget… I met her at the green market downtown; she sells tomatoes—the best ones—red and steamy from the sun. As a man of lust and dedication, I wanted to meet her. So I pretended to like tomatoes, just so I could buy those little devils. Why devils? Well… I’m allergic to tomatoes. Week after week, I bought those red problems while making her smile and giggle. Until the day I came with a special tomato—one I grew myself. On day one, I had thrown a single tomato seed into my garden. Little did I know it would eventually grow into a plant. That was my shot. My destiny. I gave her my tomato… and I was rewarded with a kiss. The kiss I had been waiting for. The kiss that changed everything. The kiss that sent me to the hospital… Because she tasted like tomato. With a taste of her lips, I’m on a ride. “You're toxic, I'm slippin' under! Toxic!!” —I yelled from the ambulance. “With a taste of a poison paradise…” —she whispered in my ear. “I’m addicted to you, don’t you know that you’re toxic?” —I whispered back. Now we’re married. Two kids. Living in a tomato paradise. 🍅 Thank you, the developer, for making me share my story.

The only redeeming quality of the game is price. I don't understand why the game was designed the way it was designed. The jumping rat is clunky to control, since its jump animation is slow and unskippable and the game hasn't implemented memory of input. There are multiple objectives you can do, but it's as if the dev tried to make them as unenjoyable as possible. First and foremost, in order for an objective to count, you need to fulfill it AND finish the level - restarting does not count. Which is okay in and at itself. But for some reason, there appears a timer when you push a ball into a circle. Meaning when you finish a level, you need to wait before it's officially finished. There's also no quick level restart once it's solved. You need to wait until it takes you into the menu. One of the objectives is to eat all apples. But you have to "attack" the apple three times before it's eaten. Just... Why? Another objective is to have a certain amount of steps. But you can't afford to make a mistake, because while the game has a Takeback feature implemented, each takeback adds a move instead of taking it away. Meaning if you intend to go for min moves, if you make a mistake, you can restart.
I loved Ratico Puzzle Adventure! I went in planning to play for just 5 minutes and ended up playing for 45. The mechanics are super fun and really make you think to get all the stars. It’s a game for all ages and perfect for puzzle lovers. That said, there are a couple of things that could be improved: Level 3 shows as "31." Even when you switch to Spanish, some parts are still in English. The pause menu shows Xbox buttons, even though I’m using a keyboard. Despite that, it’s a very fun game and highly recommended. Totally worth trying!
Love this game! Just the right bite sized puzzles that make come back every now an then.

If you want to chill and play a classic puzzle game, you'll be curious about this quirky rat that likes apples and cheese as it navigates through labyrinths. I wonder what those apples really are, are they just apples or something else? What does this rat truly want, and what do I want from this adventure with the rat, apples, and cheese? The gameplay hours could be substantial, and if I were a rat, would I really eat an apple? I think those apples might be something else, but the cheese is definitely cheese. I like cheese, I love a classic cheese sandwich, you know. But the apples and the rat... the game's name is Ratico. It's a rat, but it's "tico." Oh my god, Ratico! It's about a rat that is a "tico", a "dude" in Costa Rica language, damn, plot twist... you can draw your own conclusions about those apples. It would be crazy if the apples were really tomatoes.
Acertijos desafiantes, Ratico me entretuvo bastate, tiene una mecanica de empujar cajas muy curiosa.
Fun simple premise with a lot of variety.
I loved the game mechanics, such as the way the levels are designed. I think the difficulty level is just right. It's a game where you can have a good time thinking about how to solve the puzzles.
Have been playing this game for a while, it helps a lot to calm down and chill out after a long stressful day running with tasks at work. The game makes you think, analyze and most importantly helped me to reduce stress before bed. So if you're a casual gamer at night before bed, 100% recommended!
