This is the worst game I have ever played. If you like being chased and having your camera turned in all different directions and people standing in your way and dying repeatedly then this game is for you. This game is impossible. There's too many enemies and you only get two hits before you're dead and have to do THE WHOLE THING OVER. The gameplay is terrible which is such a shame because the story is great.
A Plague Tale: Requiem somehow manages to improve on almost everything Innocence did while delivering one of the most emotional and unforgettable stories I've ever experienced in gaming. The characters feel real, the gameplay is refined, the environments are beautiful, and the ending genuinely stuck with me long after the credits rolled. This is, without a doubt, my favourite story in any game I've played. If you enjoyed Innocence, you owe it to yourself to experience Requiem. Good: - Hugo and Amicia's relationship is one of the best sibling relationships in gaming. - Story is an absolute masterpiece (10/10) and my favourite story in gaming. - Heartbreaking, emotional ending that stays with you. - Stealth and gameplay mechanics are refined and feel even better than Innocence. - Characters are once again phenomenal with fantastic development. - Beautiful visuals and environments throughout the entire game. - Great soundtrack that perfectly matches every moment. - Much larger and more varied gameplay than the first game. - Alchemy, crossbow and combat give you far more freedom in how you approach encounters. - Excellent pacing with very few filler sections. - Rat mechanics are expanded in interesting ways without becoming repetitive. For example Hugos control over them in later chapters. Bad: - Going for 100% requires a forced New Game+ because all three skill achievements cannot realistically be completed in one playthrough. - Skill progression can be confusing, and the game never clearly explains how it works. - A few sections can feel trial-and-error on your first attempt. - Enemy AI occasionally acts strangely or becomes inconsistent. - I honestly struggled to find many flaws beyond the achievement grind. Overall Recommendation: 100% Recommended. A Plague Tale: Requiem is one of the best narrative games I've ever played. It improves upon Innocence in almost every way while delivering an unforgettable journey from start to finish. Even though Requiem is the superior game, I still highly recommend playing Innocence first—the emotional impact simply wouldn't be the same without it. If you're looking for a story-driven experience that will genuinely make you care about its characters, this is an easy 10/10.
I liked it.
While I also liked the first one, I did not like the end, let's say I didn't feel it. I've also waited long to try the sequel, and as It was in sale I bought it. This one improves graphics, art direction and music, the gameplay improves but It happened to me the same as the first one, It became repetitive in the end. I guess the thing I liked the most was the story and the art, the characters are fine and you can understand their motivations I'd recommend it if you like 3rd person camera AAA mechanics with its puzzles, the game itself is some kind of mix of Uncharted/Assasin's Creed
What a waste! A utterly absurd ending that rendered all the work of two entire parts pointless! You could have made the story about the first protectors and carriers, but you chose to squander everything built in the first part, which was truly a masterpiece ! This is in addition to the constant glitches that occur whenever there's another person assisting Amicia, beside repetitive, vicious cycle. All of this could have been forgiven if the ending had been satisfying, but unfortunately, that didn't happen. The entire ending was a disappointment
PERFECTTTTT
Acabou. A História é sensacional e emocionante(infelizmente).
