This game does have its charms and faults, but I decided to give it a thumbs-up because it actually not too bad. If they fixed most of the bugs before releasing it, it could actually have been alot better though.
Not a bad game as it is, but there are lots of better games out there. I do not recommend this one out of being bland and well, not really interesting at all. Take a look if you want, but be warned that this is nothing special. Below price of A-men you can get Wicher 1 or other titles. And may this be the best advice in regards to considering buying this game. ---------- For anyone interested in joining in on completing your own backlog; check it out here - http://steamcommunity.com/groups/completingthebacklog/discussions/5/530645446320364338/
I wanted to like this, but that desire can only last so long. The art style, and the concept, is fun. Typical platformer with characters having different skills, and the ability to switch between your characters during a level. The problems start with the controls, which are not intuitive, and you have to keep referring to the reminder bar at the bottom of the screen. You can take your time completing levels, but there are mission bonuses for doing things very quickly. As you get a few levels into the game, you unlock grenades and other interesting devices, but they are really hard to aim, partially due to the controls, and partially just not coded that well. For example, you see some enemies about to cross a bridge and plan to blow them up on the bridge. First, switch to the grenades (Q to cycle through weapons) then prepare to launch (E) which will give you a dashed line trajectory, but it's really hard to aim that, or hold a trajectory you like until the right moment. Panning the camera to be able to see the enemies approaching also uses the mouse so you have to watch then blindly toss the grenade where you think they will be. It can be difficult to gauge jumping over a hole because you can't clearly tell where the ground actually ends. I suspect this would get better with frequent play, but sometimes you hit a weird glitch where your character multiplies and the two of them spasm in place when you were trying to jump. Overall, it's a great effort, and I see a sequel has been made which I am looking forward to trying, in the hopes that improvements were made, but this game I cannot recommend,
