A very much historical rouge like life of a legionary. 10/10 brutal fun
Genuinely one of my favorite games of all time. The grinding in this game is fast and enjoyable and it perfectly manages rng in the gameplay. Whenever I am tempted to try to make a game of my own I want to make it like this game. Super fun :)
This is literally one of the worst games I've ever played in my entire life. The combat is incredibly boring and relies purely on RNG, which means you have no sense of control whatsoever. What’s more, if you come up against a stronger opponent, attacking when you have a mere 25% chance of hitting makes no sense, so you basically just switch to a defensive stance and wait about 18 turns until the battle finally ends. Oh, and that’s just one fight—it can happen that you’ll have three in a row where you’ll do absolutely nothing but defend. I don’t know what the developers’ definition of “fun” is, but it certainly differs from the one we humans are familiar with. I think this is a game for people who get joy out of staring at a wall, or something like that.
