A Bloody Party

Frustrating and overly long minigames, there is a timer on every decision you make, very bad concept. The game ends instantly if you are not fast enough in one minigame and you have to play everything from the beginning if you forgot to save before. Saving during decisions is not possible, you have to anticipate decisions and minigames to be able to save in time. If you lose continuously in the first minigame, you can't continue in the story. This is not fun, you just get annoyed and quit the game to uninstall it and forget about it. It would have been nice to have a skip function built into the mini-games for the people who are only interested in the story.

Good short game! What I think about it: The voice's were nice, I'd say that my favorite's were William and the Doorman! :D William is looking so beautiful! <3 The minigames were fun for me :) My favorite ending was "Deadly Desire". The story was interesting and I enjoyed playing the game, thank you for that! ^-^ (I wish it was longer hehe, I think that's a good sign :D) Edit: I also loved the small animations!

I put in for my refund. I originally purchased this game because I'm a big Vampire fan but the game writing & mechanics made me angry and completely turned me off. First off despite the advertisement claiming you could be masculine or feminine, no matter how you choose to present your character the writing dictates your character has a feminine nature and naturally has an attraction to other men. I didn't find it the least bit cute or appropriate how my character Ben, dressed to the nines in a tuxedo, had his heart fluttering at another mans smile, near swooned as another man kissed his hands and then had another man lead him like a woman in the waltz. If this is an Otome game, it should've been properly tagged and advertised as such. And if not, there should be romantic preference options and alternate npc characters for these romantic instances because not everybody is that free caring liberal with who their dance partner is. Another thing is that the Quick time event I got to before quitting is broken. I spent the whole minute countdown timer and then some doing the musical note mini event only to fail immediately if I was too slow or get an exception crash error if I hit all the notes just right. Bug aside, why is the QTE a whole minute? Who wants to spend a whole minute clicking their mouse over and over and over just to signify some successfully lined up notes? Ain't nobody got time for that tedium. That event should've been coded to last no more than 10-15 seconds at most. The timed event bugs are unforgivable for a paid product but if they can get that fixed and you don't take issue with another man flirting with you then you might possibly like this game. The voice acting from what I experienced wasn't great but not terribad either. The artwork tho was stellar.

At this time I cannot recommend this game. If you choose "Just water, please." It completely breaks the game by causing script errors. You can still get the"good" ending by picking the other choice, but until this is fixed my review will remain negative; which is a shame as I really enjoyed this short vampire game.

I'm a big fan of vampire lore and was excited to see how this one turned out. I really enjoyed the premise - you are a skeptic investigating a vampire party to see if they are real. The truth is rather unfortunate for our poor MC, who ends up going through a night of terror. The vampires in this are very spooky, but the main character, William, is also pretty enticing. I kept thinking how handsome he was before the game would snap me back to reality, haha. This is a horror game, and it's important to be aware of that. For such a short game, the production value is great. The backgrounds and character sprites are beautifully rendered and fit the gothic mood very well. There are also some subtle animations and several CGs. I really appreciated how much effort was put into crafting this game. Also - the voice acting was excellent and every character had their own personality. And the music - just divine. Perfect for the atmosphere. I loved it all. The main criticism I have is the bugs. There is a bug during the dancing minigame where the steps will keep appearing even after the timer has finished. In some cases, it would straight up crash the game. There is also a path to the game that cannot be completed - if you choose to drink only a glass of water, then the game gives an error and it won't let you continue. It was a bit frustrating to get gated out of a choice like that. The game is still playable, you just have to choose the other option presented to you. The other thing I would say is the mini-game aspect. It didn't bother me and I found them pretty fun, bugs aside. But I could see how a standard visual novel fan might get frustrated. The hypnosis game in particular requires you to hit several words across the screen in a certain time limit - it was fast enough that I had to grab my tablet pen to win it. I would say - I'm interested to know more about this world. I hope we will get a sequel! The game plants a lot of mysteries with the gatekeepers, the mysterious council, and how the invitation got lost in a cafe (also who is the real Montez?). Either way, I can't wait to see more from this developer.

I was really looking forward to this game, but it closes after the character asks for a glass of water, which was really disappointing, I hope this issue is resolved so I can actually play the game, as it is, I feel like I've been ripped off.

[h1] Genre [/h1] Ein kurzes Visual Novel [h1] Story [/h1] Wir spielen eine Frau (Namen können wir selber wählen). Unser Kumpel hat eine Einladung zu einem Ball bekommen. Er glaubt das es sich dabei um eine Party für Vampire handelt. Wir glauben ihm natürlich nicht aber wissen auch das er dort nur Mist bauen wird also gehen wir stattdessen zu dieser Party um zu beweisen das es sich dabei nicht um Vampire handelt [h1] Gameplay [/h1] Das Spiel ist relativ kurz und man hat es in gut 1 Stunde durchgespielt. Es ist ein typisches Visual Novel. Wir lesen uns durch die Story und treffen immer wieder Entscheidungen. Viele dieser Entscheidungen führen meist zu Bad Endings. Zwischendurch müssen wir auch Minispiele schaffen die an sich ganz simpel mit der Maus zu lösen sind. Versagen wir bei einem Minispiel heisst es auch hier Bad Ending. Es gibt nur ein Gutes Ende und das fand ich an sich eher schwach. Das Voice Acting ist völlig in Ordnung und die Musik ist OK [h1] Achievement Schwierigkeit 2/10 [/h1] Es gibt insgesamt 13 Erfolge. Hierfür muss man einfach alle Bad Endings & das Good Ending gesehen haben und alle Minispiele schaffen. Schwieirg ist hier keins und dank des Save Features alle in einem Durchgang machbar [h1] Pro/Contra [/h1] + Story ist OK + Grafikstill ist OK + Musik ist passend + Voice Acting ist völlig OK + Achievements + Günstig [h1] Fazit [/h1] Ein sehr kurzes aber recht ordentliches Visual Novel. Ich dachte es wird eher so eine Romanzen Novel ähnlich wie Twilight aber das ist es ganz und gar nicht. Es ist eher ein Horror Novel mit Blutdürstigen Vampiren was mich sehr Positiv überrascht hat. Auch Positiv überrascht hat mich das Voice Acting, was für ein so kleines Projekt doch sehr gut gelungen ist. This was a quick, fun game. It has a lot going for it, like beautiful graphics, talented voice actors, and an interesting plot. I found only two drawbacks, and if you are looking to kill a couple of hours, I would recommend you consider overlooking them. One, the mini-games were sometimes frustratingly hard. Having said that, I was paralyzed from the neck down and spent a year in recovery. My reflexes are not that of a normal person, so this will probably not be an issue for most people. (If you happen to have a tremor or nerve damage in your hands, this may be an issue for you.) Second, the "good" ending was kind of a bummer. It was good, and I like the little twist, but I would have loved to play in this world longer. If you're looking for a Seduce Me game with tons of characters and falls solidly in the "Otome" category, I'd say move along, but if you want a fun, casual horror game with lots of brushes with death and the possibility to walk away (relatively) unscathed from a night in a den of vampires, give this game a try.

Enjoyable game with good voice acting and art. [spoiler] Appreciated that the vampires are actually evil. They view the main character as food to be toyed with and brutally murdered and drained instead of a romantic interest. The good end was surviving the experience by escaping. [/spoiler] Mini games could have been frustrating but were not to difficult with a touch screen. I did run into a bug when I failed the first dance and reloaded a save point. The second attempt never ended even when the music was over. Closing and opening the game corrected this and I was able to load from the save point and pass on my third attempt.

This was a rather good horror story. Yes at first you think it's going to be a horror romance but its not and its good at keeping you on your seat and your toes would 100% recommend especially if your looking for a short horror game with many endings
