Interesting insight that seems just as relevant. The action scenes are not fun and the options are linear. So many countries have come so close to being democracies only to have a dictator replace a dictator.
It's a bit short and bare boned, but in a couple of quick hours it gives a very vivid look into the tensions and complexities and fallout of the 1979 revolution. Lots of codex entries, too.
he didn't make the water and electricity free
It wasn't fun at all. more like a point an click adventure. I would recommend it to anyone interested in the topic.
Very interesting offering, wish there were more projects like this one. As game it is flawed, but it is good enough that what's bad is very bearable, so you can enjoy what is good: the portrayal of a country's historic event; the citations of the sources employed is welcome for obvious reasons. Try to get it on a sale, but do give it a go.
Get it on sale because I think the story is worth it. But it's very short. In my world this could have been among the classics with more depth, character development and multilayered story progression. There was potential but I enjoyed the little time I had with 1979 Black friday. I recommend but only if the price is 2-4 Euro. 7,1 / 10
Kind of a Telltale game with facts and information instead of fiction. I like it very much.
