About
Entities known as The Originals have lived for centuries, granted time, granted power, and the freedom to abuse both. That power is now owed.
Noa Brooklyn was born The Collector, raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: taking that power back.
Explore a handcrafted Amsterdam by day. At night, uncover what lies beneath its surface. Every facade carries a gablestone. Not all of them tell the truth.
The Originals walk among Amsterdam’s citizens, hidden behind human faces. Identify them. Mark them. When the Esbat comes, confront them in their true form under the moon. Collect what is owed.
Noa commands witchcraft and spellcasting passed down through generations of Zaindaris. Each target can be approached in multiple ways. Strategy, timing, and choice define the outcome. Every Esbat is a reckoning.
Noa is not alone. Aaron, summoned from 1999, now sees the world through the eyes of a cat. Together, they are one: Switch between Noa and Aaron across two radically different playstyles. One wields witchcraft. The other has four paws and flair.
Panache Digital Games is an independent studio founded by Patrice Désilets, creative director of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time and Assassin’s Creed.

Great game but obviously because it's in early access the game is not finished, it's a very good start. i love the creativity and story telling. Great radiohead soundtrack at the beginning of the game. Can't wait for more content is available. big thumbs up
I think everybody complaining doesn't understand that this is in EARLY ACCESS meaning there will be bugs. Report the bugs in game. I love this game so far and I've ran into a few issues and kept it pushing.

What you obtain with this purchase is basically the right to continue playing the demo, the "prologue" as it was called: save games from this demo (released earlier in the summer of 26) do work and the game size is exactly the same. When you move the files into the folder of the full "early access" version they get validated but a new download starts. So you have to download everything anew. I already was an early adopter of the "Ancestors - Humankind Odyssey" title by Desiléts way back at the end of the last decade when it debuted on the EGS. Yes, it was a huge disappointment and I still cannot figure my head around this game but eventually I someday will. I promise. The development of 1666 I was also following since the 2010s of course, and I'm very glad it eventually got released somehow: as with the background of "Assassin's Creed", the content is in my mind basically an esoteric mix-up of darwinism (evolution theory) with the concept of ancestry and cultural heritage. That way, biology gets intertwined with history (not unlike to what Asimov did with history and psychology in his Foundation saga): since the 2000s, Desiléts remains definitely one of the most original creators of the video game industry in the west, therefore I'm willing to still support his work (after "Ancestors" which I consider to be a failure). Especially something with a fellow European identity. This time, the content is just more on the occult side of things but still far away from being a horror game: whether you may call it fantasy or science-fiction (the gameplay itself being nothing short than ordinary), you will be here and may stay for its original ideas with very emotional characters. The production values are obviously high and adequate. Especially because I do not mind the potential usage of some (or all) generative "AI": on the contrary, the public's opposition and ressentment regarding anything having to do with it is something I actually more and more object to because with some knowledge of media, everyone should in my opinion eventually be able to identify what's real and what's not. Yet I do think releasing this that way here (in "early access") is a huge mistake and the title is therefore doomed to gloom: a linear narrative game like this just demands a good publisher and a proper release as a finished product. Like Kepler did (with a little help from Microsoft) regarding last year's biggest success story, I mean that of "Clair Obscur". Someone who alone makes a linear game (and therefore could not be really called a "studio") could do that - what (especially wit the help of "AI") is in today's world totally possible - but Panache (Jeux Numériques) is certainly not so small and therefore would have demanded getting released somehow different. A short introduction at "Summer Game Fest" with a parallel trial, and a few months later this "early access" release will certainly not be enough.
Combat is garbage, and while you can avoid it in the infiltration sections, it is mandatory to defeat the bosses, which are dark soul style. Honestly, combat is ruining the whole experience for me. Side note, the second boss, you end up respawning before it, but the resources you might have spent on the previous attempt are still spent. Which is stupid. I'm going to request a refund now, and I hope they fix this before launch, otherwise, I'm not coming back. Cat parkour is fun, but extremely janky and doesn't get you to where you need to go. Also, narration has been broken pretty much the whole time I've played.
Yea this is an early access there still working on it but and it shouldn’t cost almost $30 dollars. Good concept, but No.
As someone who was fully supportive since the first trailer, all the announcement's that finally someone had beat a AAA game company at it's own game I am severely dissapointed! altthough only an hour in I can forsee the rest of the game. dialogue= poo and the handholding without actually being able to explore the open scenes is frusturating in a game that came out in 2026, combat= 3hit combo's and a very lackluster finisher (only one by the way) clunky as if it came out before Assassin's creed 1 (oh wait it has been on the bench for 15 years) Don't get me started on all the unreal engine games being crap (I thought you were better than this). on the plus side the story has promise, I love the witchcraft/disneys atlantis feel of the premise. Umm that's about all that's good. I'm so on the fence it's not funny. keep it in early access until everything I brough up is resolved, for gods sake.
Don't buy this even if they fix the performance issues and bugs. It's another ideologically possessed political propaganda campaign masquerading as a "game". "Maybe the assassin's creed guys have learned from their mistakes and want to actually make a good game" Nope, they just couldn't help themselves. The "game" part of the game is so boring. The combat feels terrible, there's a basic dodge with a 4-hit melee combo, the "spells" are a one button press, timing for combat is non-existent. Traversal feels super linear, walk in a straight line, fly in a straight line. The world feels surprisingly cramped and narrow in the worst way possible, there are no options for alternate movement.
