About
Entities known as The Originals have lived for centuries, granted time, granted power, and the freedom to abuse both. That power is now owed.
Noa Brooklyn was born The Collector, raised by the Zaindaris for a purpose she did not choose: taking that power back.
Explore a handcrafted Amsterdam by day. At night, uncover what lies beneath its surface. Every facade carries a gablestone. Not all of them tell the truth.
The Originals walk among Amsterdam’s citizens, hidden behind human faces. Identify them. Mark them. When the Esbat comes, confront them in their true form under the moon. Collect what is owed.
Noa commands witchcraft and spellcasting passed down through generations of Zaindaris. Each target can be approached in multiple ways. Strategy, timing, and choice define the outcome. Every Esbat is a reckoning.
Noa is not alone. Aaron, summoned from 1999, now sees the world through the eyes of a cat. Together, they are one: Switch between Noa and Aaron across two radically different playstyles. One wields witchcraft. The other has four paws and flair.

I was so hyped for this game. I couldn't wait to try it, saved one of my evenings, put my best headset on and got started. The first few minutes were great, atmospheric, visually beautiful. It showed all the potential that could have been there if that game wasn't so damn bad. You slow walk everywhere. You can't actually sprint or run, you can't skip the atrocious cutscenes, the mechanics are bad, the control feels unnatural. Again, it would be a lot more tolerable if you didn't have to go SO SLOW?? I feel like I'm dragging a very heavy brick through corridors and libraries and whatnot. The cats controls are better but still not great. The whole point of choosing a cat feels useless since it's always the same guy in there. Onto combat: it's BAD. You get hit thrice and that's it, you're dead. It's super frustrating when facing multiple ennemies at once. Instead of teaching you the combat mechanics while in game by showing a 'press E to attack' 'press space to dodge', they briedly show you instructions in a pop up and leave you to it. The first 30mn of the game are basically a narrative game where NOTHING happens, you get thrown a billion bits of text to read and have some guy talk your ears out to do the whole exposition, which is usually a sign of poor direction. If you can't get your point across by showing it, it means you need to rework the story. Some pepole lurk on Reddit and on Steam, accusing anyone leaving a bad review of being Ubisoft and then they resort to ad hominem attacks. I don't know if these weirdos are part of the dev team or just some random fans, but it's cringe as hell and gives a bad image of the community. I couldn't find the mental fortitude to keep playing. I haven't even reached the hour mark, because I am very much considering asking for a refund. I will probably keep trying to be fair and to give indie devs a fair chance, but lord it's BAD and I sincerely hope the team gets their act together and fixes things. It could have been such an excellent game, honestly.

I freaking love the atmosphere and vibe. the combat is clunky but everything else makes up for it.
A történet két idősíkon (1666, 1999) fut. ok first I will say, I like the concept of the game I see your gameplay vision and i'm with you, it looks great and has some great sound design and world building. I do recommend this game in the future if they keep it up with the updates and framedrop issues because the idea is solid and there. The choppy almost constant stutters when changing scenes or walking 20 feet and next area is loading or something but i have 64gb RAM and a 4070Super i should be having ZERO freezes and stutters and audio/video desyncs becuase of it. 2/5 for now only becuase its ust not playable or even enjoyable right now because of that. Also we need a little more move variety for mele the exact same combo with no like heavy/light option just for breaking repetitions sake would be great. Thank you! Wont refund but definitely not currently happy with the purchase but i am sold on the potential.
It's a good game. I'm surprised by the number of negative reviews. Are you surprised by the bugs in Early Access? A word of advice to the publisher: start with a configuration of a 4090, 64 GB of RAM, and 30 FPS. This needs to be fixed...
