I'm playing Steam games in alphabetical order, and you can watch my review here: https://youtu.be/DSYE-GvQm6Y Prefer to read? A sequel to 100 Pumpkins, this game takes the idea from the original game and elevates it in almost every way. A 2D "minivania" where the entire game takes place on a 10x10 grid, with one pumpkin to find in each room, upgrades to unlock, doors to open, and bosses to fight. This game is definitely a little rough around the edges, but for the second game by the dev it does a fantastic job of condensing the metroidvania formula into a tiny, bite-sized package. Whereas the first game had some rooms that were clearly there just to pad out the gameplay, here there is basically no wasted space, with each room presenting a different challenge or puzzle to solve. It's still relatively short, taking only an hour or two to beat, but at a pretty reasonable price, it's hard to say no. Great work, and I'm looking forward to another sequel in the future!
Good Minivania, definitely worth the price, especially with the bundle. Great evolution from the first game

Just finished this one after beating the first game not too long ago. Both games are tagged as metroidvanias. The first one is not, this one however certainly is. You have a full free roam, interconnected map, along with two unlockable power ups that allow you to progress to areas you could not before. I think I actually enjoyed the first game a bit more than this one, but I'm not fully sure why that is. I've thought about it a bit, and come to the conclusion that I just like the simplicity of the first game more, and felt the controls were a bit tighter overall. This entry is very good though. It has a an overall larger feeling map, more playtime, better visuals, sound effects, and unlike the first game, music. It is harder than the first and will grant you more of a challenge, and the additions of power ups for explorations and puzzles is a nice touch. The one use consumable pitchfork from the first game has also been turned into a permanent part of the character. It's now a throwable ranged weapon that can also be used as leverage for platforming. I feel like most people would enjoy this entry more than the first if you want to only pick one to play. If the dev ever decides to make a third entry, I'll likely pick it up. I enjoyed both of these games enough to easily want to give more of their games a chance.
Very fun little 2-hour game, sort of if you made a Metroidvania-ish experience out of 100 puzzle rooms (though not all of them are puzzles). Simple and intuitive mechanics, fun to explore, finished it all in one stretch. Cool solo indie project. Don't even remember how I heard about this but I'm glad I did. Note: Steam says it is "unsupported" for the SteamDeck but it ran just fine without any configuration. I think I had to set it to full screen and that's it.
masterpiece
Scratches that one screen puzzle jumper itch I've had since Bruce Lee on the Commodore 64. I probably should have someone check that out. ;P
Like the first game but better in literally every way. Hope this dev continues to make games cause his improvement is promising
Nice
I love these kinds of games, games made by a single or a few passionate person(s), and with this game, you can tell it definitely was made by someone who cared and loved the art of making games. It's an amazing small game.
