Played the demo for 14 hours. Definitely the best numbers go up game I have played since Balatro. Really addictive and highly recommend if you like these types of games at all.
Very fun, but needs some patches. 80% of the animals feel useless by late game. You essentially NEED a select few if you want to win on any higher difficulty. Can easily be fixed with some rebalancing.
I was so skeptical of this because of its child friendly aesthetic but this game is GAS man. The endless mode numbers can go absolutely crazy (my personal best is 11.9 sextillion.
this ♥♥♥♥ is GAS! its like if Balatro went to the zoo, just buy it you will not regret it
Saw this on Retromation's channel and picked it up after watching him play a run. First few runs: Oooh, cute animals. Let's put them together and whoa, that went wild. 10+ runs in: *stops and looks at the map after each play* now this needs to go there and that will then go there, and I got to hope that I draw the right cards. The nice part is that even when you lose, your mind immediately goes back to analyze what went wrong in the game. You feel a sense of challenge where you want to learn to beat it. The fun aesthetics give way to a serious thought-provoking challenge. Definitely recommend this game as a roguelike, hell, I sense solo or duo board game potential that rivals STS.

A math/deckbuilding/puzzle game with DNA from Slay the Spire and Balatro, brought to you via a procession of endlessly adorable animals to add to your deck (which combined with the "board" you play each round on makes it feel a bit like the board game like Wingspan). Very fun, very creative and well designed, very kid-friendly.
Played the demo to oblivion, full version finally here, so let me tell you... DO NOT get deceived by cutesy graphics and seemingly casual veneer. This is one brute of a 'numbers go up' game. Sure, lower difficulties should be a breeze, more of a check if you have a grasp on what you can cook. And then the endless, director difficulty and challenges are there to squeeze your bollocks and demand that you have a pretty nasty numbers engine hidden in your hexes. You can snap the game with some RNG luck over a knee, make creatures that crate impossible numbers, trillions, quantillions, you name it. There are seemingly COUNTLESS ways to create a lovely machine of scoring points - win with one color, win with rainbows, win by making the tiles on the board give anything you place there +100 000 points multiple times. Win with summon, copying creatures, multiple recasts... Countless interactions and mechanics to explore. Delicious game. 10/10, perfect peer of its genre.
